"Groom Room Newton Mearns is amazing"

Groom Room Newton Mearns is amazing, the staff are so friendly and helpful and my dog is just so relaxed.

For almost the last 10 years she has been dealt with by Sarah and Tommy who are just naturals, i see them with my dog and with others and the service is top notch.
A big thank you to Sarah and Tommy for always been amazing.

I only go to the Newton Mearns Pets at Home because of the service i get at The Groom Room

"Brilliant puppy groom"

We took our 6 month old border collie for his first puppy groom.
The staff were amazing, they were so gentle and calming, as he was initially quite nervous. They did a brilliant job and made him look so smart. We would definitely recommend them and will be going back there for his next groom.

Put it two six months old pups in to get a groom, bith where not completed one if my wee pups was very distress instead of a staff member console her they where sitting on their phones. After £113 and abuse for a young lady who need to get some customer service traing, we had to take a we pair of sizers to the pups ourself. I phoned twice asked to speak to a manager still waiting we pay extra thinking that as attached to pets at home they are about tour dogs, they don't.

I have been using Pets at home for the past 2 years.
Their service was Ok, but for its convenient for the location wise.
Pets at home Groom service cancelled my appointment - all the groom staff have left - appears can not retail staff for what ever reason - continuous change, no consistency.
Was text message that all appointments cancelled as no groomers - no one to take calls nor can you leave a message, no customer service care - can only point to poor management.
They insist on taking the £15.00 booking fee well ahead of making the booking - a message on Whattapp said - awaiting a newly trained groomer - time to find an alternative.
Useless....... don't bother with this location for grooming

Took our two rescue oldies there Saturday.
They had lost their old groomer through no fault on groomers or their side.
Was really pleased with the groom room Crosshands.
Friendly, caring staff and a really wonderful before and after look for the girls.
Booked them in again, well worth the price.

"NO STARS "

I've put 1 star because you have to rate, however, this is the 2nd time my 10 month old cocker spaniel has been. First time , fabulous. This time I'm absolutely devastated he looks like he's been butchered at the cost of £60. I've looked on the website & there seems to be no way to make a complaint but I shall be taking this further. I'd happily post photos but the review site won't allow. It also won't allow a honest review.

We went for a nail clipping for Freddie at 1.30pm today and i very badly didnt take the name of the groomer. She was amazing as he is anxious to have his nails clipped. I will be back. Thank you ❤️

The groom room at pets at home Wrekin retail park Telford is fantastic. I have found the best groomer for my Cockerpoo Bruno. Danii is the loveliest most patient and caring person ever. My dog is so anxious and she has taken so much time with him I think he’s fallen in love with her. He looks amazing happy and the groom Danii has done is outstanding. I’m so very happy and so is my Bruno

"My dog (cockapoo) has had a full groom…"

My dog (cockapoo) has had a full groom 3 times at the Eltham branch.

First 2 occasions were fine. On the 3rd occasion I asked that the hair on her face should not be cut short (leave about 5cm beard) but her body could go to a number 2.

When I collected my dog her facial hair had been hacked. It was very short and uneven, so both sides did not match. She looked awful. I did not complain as how could they fix this now!

When I got her home and checked her over, her ears were filthy, they had made no attempt to clean them.

I have no option but to wait for her hair to grow.

We will not be back.

"The Groom Room Carlisle"

The Groom Room Carlisle. Very unprofessional staff member (usually from Penrith apparently) who swore numerous times while explaining she was usually at Penrith and just covering today. Her and another staff member groomed my dog and were quite harsh with him. At the end she said ‘some dogs just drive you to drink’!! So unprofessional. Having been a loyal customer to pets at home for a very long time I will not be back in the store after this experience! Appalling
