Switched to Climb-Kili-So glad we did!
Our group of 2 couples had chosen a different company to climb with but towards payment time, we began to feel very apprehensive. We could not get them to respond to our questions and couldn’t talk to a real person over the phone. We started researching and found Climb Kili, I called on a Saturday and Tiffany took my call. From that moment on, the choice was clear- we switched and never looked back. They were able to accommodate our group with the start date we wanted (which was only a few weeks away.) We received the welcome package and felt very prepared with the packing list and summit tips. Upon arrival, everything ran smoothly from the airport pickup, hotel accommodations and meeting with our guide. Our guides Raymond and James were outstanding and very knowledgeable. I personally could not have made the summit without their constant encouragement and physical help carrying my pack during a challenging time on summit night. We felt very taken care of the whole time. If you are looking elsewhere, look no further. I felt such relief while on the mountain, seeing what could have been our situation with other companies passing by. Thank you Climb Kili for an unforgettable experience!

"Experience of a lifetime!"

We had an incredible experience hiking Mount Kilimanjaro with ClimbKili. They went above and beyond to make it memorable and enjoyable. Our whole group was able to reach the summit with a lot of help from all the porters and guides.
They got our spirits up each morning with singing and dancing ( one of my favorite parts of the trip) and they carried our backpacks when we were tired.
They set up camp for us and made us delicious dinners so we could fully relax when we got to camp. There are even portable toilets that flush to make the camping experience a little more comfortable. The guides are very knowledgeable and skilled.
The views are incredible. Each day brings new terrain and foliage. The 7 day trek was beneficial for us to acclimate to the altitude and have a successful summit.
I enjoyed the whole experience and want to do it again. I can’t recommend ClimbKili enough!

"An incredible trip and experience with a wonderful company!"

Myself and two other women flew to Tanzania for a chance to climb Kilmanjaro and also enjoy a 5 day Safari. From the moment we arrived at Summit Safari Lodge, we were greeted by the wonderful staff including our Climb Kili representative, Rixson, who gave us our briefing for what to expect and bring for the trek. We had the opportunity to also meet our lead guide on the mountain, Minja, aka Mr. 100% as well as our assistant guide Mexson and our chef, Sameheh. From the get go we felt we were in great hands! We took the 7 day Machame trek. Every step of the way we had the best support. Minja was always checking in to make sure everything was as it should be and that we were successful and safe. Minja was very knowledgeable about the trek and what to expect. He taught us a lot of Swahili as well as reminding us to take our time and take our pictures and enjoy the journey. A couple days into our trip we needed to switch to a different assistant guide whose name was Amani. He was very kind, patient and helpful. The food was amazing. We were very well fed with incredible meals. One of my highlights was Norbet, who was an assistant to the kitchen. With a smile on his face no matter the conditions outside, he would bring us a cup of warm drink, usually coffee or tea and a bowl of clean warm water and soap to wash up every morning to our tents. It was such a treat. As we approached summit day, Minja helped us make our preparations so that we would be ready. His calm and steady advice as well as the support from the rest of the crew were immeasurable and I am not sure if I would have made the summit without it. So much support and encouragement. I am forever grateful. When we came back to camp after reaching the summit, to the sounds, hugs, and singing of the camp crew, it brought tears to my eyes. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Climb Kili and Minja.

Next we went on the 5 day Safari and our driver and guide was Boniface or Bony for short. He was a great driver and guide. Was patient with all of our questions. Knew where to go so that we could see as much as possible of not only Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater but the magnificent Serengeti. Was an absolutely unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend Bony as your tour guide.

I could go on and on. Great company and great trip. Thank you Climb Kili!!!

"Exceeded Expectations!!"

This was absolutely the trip of a lifetime. It is hard to know exactly what to expect, even with all the research, but the Climb Kili team exceeded all expectations. Manny and the crew were absolutely amazing and so supportive to ensure everyone in the group was able to safely and successfully make it to the top of the mountain. I recommend this company and their employees wholeheartedly. Climbing Kilimanjaro is an experience I hope for all that love to hike and you cannot go wrong using Climb Kili :)

"Trip of a lifetime !"

I had the best experience with Climb Kili ! I was able to summit successfully with the professional help of our guides Veda, Steve and Deo. Thank you to Tiffany for helping me organize the trip. I did the 8 days Lemosho route. Everything about the trip was excellent! From the hotel, the climbing teams, the tents were very comfortable and the food was delicious. The porters were very kind and hospitable. If you’re looking for a Kilimanjaro tour company, this is it !! You will be in good hands !

"Kilimanjaro Trip"

Such an amazing experience. One I've dreamed about since I was a kid. Our trip over to Tanzania was delayed and we ended up landing at Kilimanjaro Airport the morning we needed to start the hike and none of our luggage arrived with us. The team at Climb Kili were so amazing and took care of us making sure we had the essentials to start our climb and then getting our gear up the mountain when it finally arrived a few days later. Our guides and porters from Climb Kili were top notch and they were pivotal in making sure everyone in our group reached the top. The Serengeti trip after the hike was just as amazing and our guide from Climb Kili really new his stuff and where the animals would be. Would highly recommend this trip and definitely use Climb Kili for your guides

"Mount Kilimanjaro with Climb Kili"

We climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route with Climb Kili. The guide for our group was James. I thought that they did a great job in making sure that we got up safely, which is probably the most important thing. They made sure we were eating and drinking properly, and even had an O2 measuring device.

The food was surprisingly good for a backpacking trip. The tents were warm, spacious, and always set up when we arrived. I loved the bathroom tent that they set up, since it can get cold.

I can think of two complaints:
1. There were multiple zipper issues on the various tents. The guides did swap one of the tents for ours, but having like 3 zippers break during the trip wasn't amazing.
2. There was some coordination issues at the beginning. This caused us to not get plane tickets to Zanzibar until pretty close to the flight date, which means we had to take an odd set of flights. This could have been avoided if the coordinator had let us know that they were waiting for our confirmation, which we had thought we had already given.

"CLIMB KILI 10/10"

Our group of 5 all reached the Roof of Africa with the support and leadership of the Climb Kili company. Even before we booked, they answered all of our questions, in a timely matter, to set us up for success. They sent each of us a book of information, tips, stories, and exact packing list. Upon arrival, they picked us up from the airport and had our pre-climb meeting do go over the plan and any questions/comments/concerns. We started out the next morning on the Machame Route. Each day was a different setting and ecosystem to keep it fresh. Our tents and sleeping bags were plenty warm. The meals were plentiful and delicious. We are like royalty! Our lead guide, Herment, was one of the most knowledgeable, adventurous, quality person I’ve ever met. I trusted him and his brilliant team truly with my life. The team was so strong mentally, physically, and emotionally. I learned so much from them. They have hearts of gold, and that’s how they deserve to be treated. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about our expedition. I highly recommend Climb Kili and this adventure of a lifetime!

"Climb Kili is the best group you could go with on any route up the mountain or a safari"

The best part of the freak was the climb kili team of guides and porters we were honored to climb the mountain and learn so much along the way! The 7 day machame route with Guides Herment, Omar and Florian! The best team of guides, keeping us safe, entertained, and answered every question along the 7 days and we had a lot! Would recommend this team to any and all travelers who are looking to venture to the roof of Africa!

"Great Experience with Climb Kili"

Just returned home a few days ago from completing the 7-day Machame route Kili hike. It was a great experience with Climb Kili team making it possible. From my initial correspondence with Tiffany to the climb itself led by Herment Mosha, I have nothing but superlative experience with the Climb Kili team. Tiffany was always very prompt on the questions I had. I received responses from her usually the same day I would send her an email.

Climb Kili staff led by Herment was just phenomenal. From preparing amazing food in the middle of nowhere to carrying all the load and motivating us, they left no stone unturned for our success. I am amazed how they keep themselves so motivated and ever-smiling even when they have basic stuff to wear but loads to carry.

I highly recommend Climb Kili. This is a very professional outfit that you cannot go wrong with. I would also encourage asking for Herment Mosha as your lead guide as he is unbelievable. He will ensure you summit and does a great job looking after his clients.
