As many others have said.Amongst the worst companies , ever, for customer service.
Helplines are a waste of time.
Never seem to get any sense or an answer.
Shall have to get rid of my hp printer
And get something decent.

"Worst service ever!"

Possibly the worst service i have ever received. My printer broke in january and the issue still isn't resolved. You are told one thing and when you ring a week later to chase they tell you that what has been promised has not been done! Apparantly there is no way of making a complaint or speaking to a senior member of staff. Frustrated and unamused. I shall never buy any of their products again.

It is important for folk to know just how crap HP products are. I purchased a printer/scanner which can’t print and won’t scan.

If you enjoy high blood pressure and spending hours trying to achieve a one page print or scan then buy HP. Otherwise go elsewhere, I understand that other makes actually print out documents and can scan a one page letter within a few minutes - I can’t verify though as I have only used HP.

Large paper weight for sale.

Edit: it has been stuck in ‘Now printing alignment page’ since June 2021 - this is now April 2022.

"I will never purchase an HP product…"

I will never purchase an HP product again, my cartridges ran out so ordered online (not HP products) and the printer worked fine. When they ran out i ordered more cartridges (genuine HP ones this time) and the printer does not recognise them. Tried to get assistance and the assistance i can get will cost me £21.49.
Didn't bother will go and buy another printer elsewhere.

"The customer service felt like a joke at my expense"

Oh the hoops I have jumped through to set up my printer. It is still broken. It came with minimal paper instructions, not including setup. The website is useless. When I tried to get in contact, the customer service felt like a joke at my expense. The first website and Virtual Agent led to a US team when I am based in the UK, then they gave me the phone number of an unrelated company in the UK. I called and the company said it happens a lot. I tried to find the UK customer service, ended up in a WhatsApp where I was told I'd be connected to a virtual agent. I got a message 5 days later expecting me to be in front of my printer. I said I wasn't and the agent said I should come back when I was. Finally got connected with someone else an hour later. They asked me to wait 10 minutes then disappeared completely forever.

This feels like our existential ruin. I have turned to philosophy to help me deal with how banal and awful this experience was. However, philosophy won't fix my printer. I'm trying prayer and magic next.

"Will never buy HP printers again"

1. No customer support at all. The virtual agent is useless.
2. Their app(HP Smart) is a joke. It is nothing more than a link to their website.
3. Their app needs you to install another app called HP Print Service Plugin. Which begs the obvious question, why couldn't they just combine the two?
4. Sometimes HP Smart doesn't work because Plugin app needs updating and vice versa.
5. Tired of this, I started using their email to print feature, as it doesn't rely on any of the apps. Sometimes it doesn't work. I have to restart the printer and then it slowly spits them out. But today despite several restarts it wasn't working. I just gave up. After a while, it printed a paper on its own, which was from HP Mimecast. I had never heard of this before, but apparently it had apparently blocked my email for 'Spam Policy'. HP internet forums are flooded with people complaining about the same issue. Nobody from HP is bothered to explain what this Mimecast is, as I have never been asked to open an account with them.

"Fit for the rubbish dump!!"

My laser printer won't connect to the network, and login hangs up won't connect, unable to print, I want to stop my instant ink supply, want to return printer for a refund! I was an hour on the phone with technical support, then he disconnected the call, not happy! My HP envy is wired to my PC so works through that but the laser one can't be so it is useless. I would like to email you to get this sorted out, but there doesn't seem anywhere to contact you apart from virtual or technical support, been there, done that, printer is 6 months old, worked to start with then stopped, so I gave up on it and bought a Brother Printer instead!!! I don't want to pay for something that is not working/ will not do the job!

"THE WORST"

THE WORST! Support = ZERO! AVOID! AVOID! Trusted technical. Four printers later. None work. Website doesn't work. Login fails every time. Account constantly reverts to locked. Support just say, sorry our website doesn't work! No plans to fix it either. But your printer is tied to it. If the website doesn't work, neither does your printer.
All reviews on here are horrendous. How are they still in business. If everyone stops buying, we can get rid of them altogether!

"Terrible"

Terrible, terrible, terrible avoid with a 65-foot pole
I signed up for the instant ink and was initially using my ink before it arrived. Then once my ink ran out I started to use the ink they had provided anyway fast forward one month and they are charging me 38 euro as I used additional pages, i.e I had picked the 700 pages a month as I am a student and need to print a lot for my course, and since using my ink and their ink I printed 1200, they are charging me for the now additional ink that they sent me extra ink I did not request and is still in my drawer. Scam
Also, customer service is horrendous, takes them much too long to respond when communicating with an agent.

Honestly a total waste of money ,pricey products with the worst performance ever.
No after sale support.
I would never buy any HP products and definitely DO NOT recommend it to anyone.
