Going green seems to be a very complex business. I have been impressed with the office and managerial staff of Greener Energy Group. The assessor who came to our house today was very friendly and patient and covered in detail all the ins and outs of various options: He knew his subject and was open and honest.

"Greener Energy Group - Air Source Heat Pump"

Had air source heat pump installed which has replaced oil boiler. So far everything is nice and warm.
Surveyor and office staff were friendly and helpful.
Electrician was excellent. He was very helpful even when I appeared to ask stupid questions.
Plumbers let the side down. Everything was fitted correctly. However they used garden hose to drain system without asking permission, failed to lag any exposed pipes, did not tidy up after themselves and a few other things, which they had to return to remedy.
Would probably recommend them to others.

"Rip-off!"

We wanted our system to be serviced to keep up our guarantee. First appointment the engineer didn't arrive. Second appointment was rescheduled at 1(or was it 2?) days notice. Third appointment went fine but cost about £230 for 40 minutes work with no materials used. Unjustifiable.
I'll get a quote from a local firm to do the work next year...and check the manufacturers will recognise it for the guarantee.

We are very happy with our Air Source Heat Pump installation from Greener Energy Group.
All staff were polite, timeous and co-operative. They minimised disruption as much as possible and cleaned up and put back floorboards each night. When there was a slight glitch after installation the engineer made a four round trip a Sunday and sorted it in fifteen minutes.
There was no pressurised selling- like the best sales people they are looking for people who want what they have to offer rather than talking people into it. The two stage process of assessment/approval and the technical survey worked well and staff took the time to explain the logic and practicalities in detail and to ensure we understood.
Communication with the office was perfect, extremely courteous and helpful. The ASHP is a Grant Aerona. My mate who is a lifelong plumber agreed this was a good choice... It powers our hotwater, two towel rails and eight radiators, and after three week it seems to reliably maintain a comfortable tempreature as demanded from the controls. We are very happy to recommend Greener Energy Group as a trustworthy supplier.

Greener Energy Group have done a marvellous job installing an air source heat pump and all associated kit. From initial contact, through all the surveys, the team conducting the complex installation, and handover/explanation of running the system, the people I was in contact with have been professional and immensely helpful. The heat pump has made my house warm and comfortable for the first time since I moved here three years ago. It was replacing a very expensive to run electric immerser wet heating system. Post installation the team have made sure all processes were clearly explained to me. I thoroughly recommend Greener Energy Group if you’re considering renewable energy.

After a shaky a start (an incorrectly identified tile type caused the job to be cancelled), the team were in constant contact during the run up to the job and on completion. So after the initial tussle communication was good and the issue resolved quickly.
The install team, both the roof squad and the electrician were professional and quick, I believe 3 hours from starting to electricity being generated.
The equipment installed is of good quality and having checked around the price is very reasonable.
I would, and have, recommended them to others.
