"If I could give no stars I would"
If I could give no stars I would — avoid at all costs. A mistake they should have spotted during our house purchase has caused us nearly 9 months of stress and delayed selling our property hugely. There has been next to no communication, with nearly 4 weeks being the longest they ignored our emails for, although we have been ignored a week at a time regularly since the issue was flagged in early November.
I can only assume they’ve somehow hacked into trustpilot to get any 5 star reviews because I can honestly say this is the worst company I’ve ever interacted with.
I can’t even express how much I DO NOT recommend them.
(In reply to Direction Law’s reply, my partner D Richards is the person you’re dealing with on the case)

This has been a completely new process for me and everyone I have dealt with has been very supportive, reassuring and helpful. They have replied to my ongoing emails and questions quickly and were able to make this whole process as smooth and swift as possible.

Completed last week using Direction Law, you’d be lucky to have Lucy manage your case as she was absolutely from instruction to completion. So efficient to respond to my emails and explained everything clearly! She is an asset to the company.

V good service towards the final part of the sale by Katie

Some Communication with staff can be either complex to understand (focusing too much on law language) and patronising
The compliance process at the start was far too difficult. I understand the need to do it with regards to money laundering. The money for my deposit for house was in several different savings/NSnI accounts. I got told that all the money had to be in my current account. I queried the need to do this and got told if I didn’t transfer the money than the sale could not complete. Forget about loosing bonuses etc of transferring money I have lots of learning difficulties which made the whole process more difficult to complete. In fact I lost £24 000 in the process. After investigating this, the money was on a electronic limbo between my current and savings accounts. So I got the money back eventually
Please consider this process as it’s unnecessary to put savings accounts into current account

"Excellent service"
It was amazingly good to work with Direction Law. They are very open, professional, prompt and always answered very fast on any query I had. I do think they are brilliant and I would recommend them further to my friends and family. The only downside is that they don't have no buy no fee policy. I had to give up on buying a property and switching for another one, they only pay back half of the money I payed as a first payment. I choosed to go with them because they knew the development. I didn't regret, as they did the work very quick, however I didn't like that they didn't refund my whole amount for the previous deal.
Addendum 18/07/2023
As I have no reply option to the answer of Direction Law. I have paid 60£ fee, on the first lot of payment of (360 or 380£) but I have only been refunded 190£.
