The GPS and home alarm system are excellent. The staff at Bay Alarm is pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone needing an excellent life support system.

My finding this system in place when I returned home from being hospitalized was initiated by one of my children, I wore the monitor because they had ordered it. I think you will agree that people of my generation (80s) would not have thought such a device necessary. When I became less dependent on others, and especially when I leave town, I left it behind. Is this system something I can return to you and no longer be charged? I would appreciate your response.

"Bay Alarm fantastic company"

I have had Bay Alarm for over a year now. I was having a lot of falls & had to get an alarm service. I have had to use the alarm numerous times & their representatives answer the call promptly & are so very nice & courteous. I have also pressed the alarm by accident & they are so nice when I apologize for pushing the alarm button. I am very happy with the company & will recommend them to anyone who needs one.

"Cheaper than Life Alert"

Cheaper than Life Alert. With Bay Medical we had to pay 3 months up front, so we paid about $90, compared to Life Alert's $50+ a month.
When my aged father pushed his neck pendant on accident, he did receive a call from Bay Medical. But because my father is hard of hearing he did not respond to Bay Medical's person that called to make sure my dad was okay. So the police and fire truck came and responded to a false alarm. So Bay Medical did their job, of which I was
grateful for. Because of the false alarm, Bay Medical, after calling the police, was suppose to call me, but did not. That's when I realized that there was a form to fill out so I would get that call after an emergency. I believe only hard copies or faxes of that form were accepted. No electronic submissions.
I do not like the way the neck pendant is made. So I cut off the connecting plastic part (because my father pulled it loose and fell off his neck) and just tied a knot with the satin cord. I like that this pendant is waterproof so my father wears it in the shower. He really never takes the pendant off.
We did purchase a $50 lockbox from Bay Medical. We realized that the paramedics needed a key to open the door if there was no one available in an
emergency. We did not want our door broken down, so we invested in the $50 lockbox. I liked that it was made of metal and it took a 4-digit combination to open.
Overall, Bay Medical has been a good value with good service at $30 a month, but don't care for the 3 months at a time payment.
Side note: be sure to save the box the alarm system comes in so you can easily mail it back to the company.

"Three-thirty in the morning and i got imediate help"

I fell on the floor at about 3:30 in the morning as I was getting up for the toilet. I pushed my Bay alarm and the response was immediate. I was so happy that I could get help instead of lying on the cold floor until I could get someone's attention. That would have been next day at the earliest because I have no neighbors who could hear me yell. This is really worth it.

No emergencys so far, but the folks who answered the tests were great, very professional, courteous and thorough. We don't anticipate any problems.

I'm a very recent client who thought that I would have your service 'just in case,' never realizing that 'just in case' would occur so soon. I fell shortly
after I started wearing the pendant and had a chance to rest the system. The response was immediate and I had help getting up right away. Needless to say, I'm very glad I signed up with Bay Alarm Medical.

Great experience from beginning to end of the process. Everyone was very helpful and our system was so easy to set up and get started. I now have peace of mind that my mom can get the help she needs if anything ever happens.
