"France to UK relocation"

I hired Alpha Pro Removals for a relocation from France to the UK. From the sales rep to the movers, they were terrific. I had a lot of questions which they patiently answered. My move was not straightforward, as there were two drop-off locations in the UK. Everything arrived in the right place, on time and in good condition. They are not inexpensive, but they are well worth the cost.

"Stay away from this company if you don’t want your move to turn into a nightmare"

What should have been a straight forward move (we were moving only 2 miles away) turned into one of the most stressful days of our lives, thanks to the extremely incompetent and unprofessional removal men sent by Alphapro removals.

The workers just didn’t want to do their job and most of what they did do was incomplete or they managed to damage the furniture (drilling a hole into a cot and damaging our dinning table).
They didn’t take the treadmill as they couldn’t dismantle it and just left it along with 5/6 boxes that just needed to put in the van, even though they decided to do a second round taking only a tv and a mirror in a completely empty van.

They didn’t reassemble a wardrobe and a bed properly, telling my husband to be careful with the bed as they hadn’t screwed it in properly.

The company then charged us for an extra 30 minutes and when my husband complained about the workers spending 45mins on the cot and still not being able to reassemble it they waived it off but only to claim it again 2 months later when we chased up our damage claim on the cot.
The company is now refusing to pay the damage claim saying there is outstanding payment!!!!!

The crew turned up on time and had such a great energy and the kind of can-do attitude that you want to see in such a stressful day. They were quick, efficient but at the same time very careful with our furniture and boxes. I would absolutely use them again.

Communication went really well as Simon from AlphaPro was always reachable and helped with everything around volume estimation and customs / boarder for our delivery from Germany to UK. All goods arrived well and got efficiently picked up as well as delivered. The two man have been handling the goods very gentle. Also price wise really fair by what I compared along the way.

It was easy to arrange and everything from the beginning to the end was smooth and seamless. My move took place on Sunday and Kristina did a great job to arrange the van and staff in a timely manner. I definitely recommend them. 5 star service!
