"Cut the numbering at mealtimes."

I liked the value for money. I liked the extensive coverage our tour gave us and the guides and hotels were excellent.
The childish numbering system for dinner spoilt many chances of making friends. Had the numbering been applied to the coach as rigorously the same 'travel sick' and 'stick wealding people' would not have had the front seats, or double seats to themselves.
The sit where you are told did not work at school when we were seven. We formed our own circles and made our own friends. It did not work on holiday now I am in my seventies. This system resulted in a lack of warmth I have not found on other singles holidays.

Great organisation of Tour. Fantastic tour manager and local guides. Felt extremely safe and looked after. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish of booking through to returning home.

"Pre-holiday arrangements were…Shambolic."

Pre-holiday arrangements were shambolic, and every time. I rang One Traveller the person with information wasn't in today, not available, in a meeting, and only once rang back. Final documents with actual timings only arrived 6 days before the holiday. Journey ok, though BA not great. Boat, food, tour managers great. Excursions disappointing, left to own devices far too much and too long. Scenery lovely!

All managed excellently, no complaints there, however I would caution anyone looking for this sort of holiday that virtually every day is full on. This may suit many, you certainly get your moneys worth but for me it was a punishing schedule. I would say check the itinerary to make sure you’re happy to holiday with this much activity. Not a complaint as such just a problem for me.

I have always wanted to go to Egypt as my parents met in Cairo during the war. I had some old photos and I went to some places they had visited which was great! Then, to see the things we learned about in school all those years ago and have them brought to life by our marvellous guide Tamer was beyond all my expectations. Penny and Carole were brilliant tour managers, the boat was fabulous and the crew were so attentive. Only downside was a few early starts but we were able to relax in the afternoons and watch the world go by from our sun beds.
