"Christmas on the Danube "

The Danube Christmas cruise was my fourth One Traveller trip and, whilst all were great, this was the most enjoyable. The reason for this probably being a combination of a good mix of companions (maybe 60 is a good number), great venue (the ship), good food, excellent service (the crew) attentive tour manager (Roberto was thoughtful, efficient and an absolute godsend on the return journey).

"I went on the Christmas trip to…Valencia"

I went on the Christmas trip to Valencia which was hugely disappointing due to the poor accommodation, dreadful food, badly thought out tours and arguments between other travellers and the tour guide!
The hotel was several kilometres away from the city centre and after the first day tour we were left in the centre and told to get our own transport back to the hotel! This meant a long walk to the bus stop, a wait if 20 minutes for a bus and a 30 minute bus ride back to the hotel. The hotel was very basic with a very small dirty pool covered with a plastic roof. The thermostat was broken in the little jacuzzi making it unusable. The food for the evening meal was poor with no choice and I often went to bed hungry as it was inedible.
When other travellers tried to complain to the tour rep. It got nasty and there was an awful atmosphere. I could go on with issues from this holiday including the mould and broken bathroom fittings, locked up sauna, nothing to see or do by the hotel which was next to the football stadium!
Most disappointing is the poor response I got from One Traveller who don’t seem at all concerned about the problems encountered on this trip. Beware!

"Thailand"

I was on the festive Thailand tour and found that the 4 different places we stayed at all had a very different feel each bringing their own special view of every day life. It was also good to experience travel by tuk tuk, rail, back of trucks, speedy long tail boats and by canal around the floating market.

Excellent admin and booking arrangements and thank you for the packing cubes. A walking tour was included every morning at the different ports of call.
Loved seeing Vienna at Christmas.
My cabin on the ship was very comfortable.
It was good to have a flight from Manchester.

The Mozart concert was the highlight. To see Austria in the Christmas season was a pleasure. We had an experienced guide who made the trip really interesting.

Do not use this company.
They do not deliver what they advertise.
As a result I looked elsewhere.
I have just returned from a very successful trip with Titan and would suggest you look at this company instead.
My dispute with One Traveller has not been resolved since last March and the company have held £500 of my money despite defaulting on their own Terms and Conditions.
Do not even consider travelling with this company. They have no customer care.
