"Do not expect compensation if anything goes wrong"

I have travelled with this company three times, the first two were fine. Unfortunately the last holiday Did not match the description in the brochure in the following areas:
1 There was no walking tour of Vienna on the first day.
2 The tickets we were given for the palace only allowed entry to approximately one third of the palace and not the two areas outlined in the brochure.
3 The fine dining and concert did not happen. The meal could not be described as fine dining, and the concert didn't happen. We were put in taxis and left on a dark road outside a closed theatre, the tour manager was not with us. We had to arrange for taxis back to the hotel
4 we arrived for the Ferras wheel 45 minutes before it opened and had to wait in the coach.
5 on arrival at Heathrow the tour manager was the first to leave, before all the luggage had arrived.

To add insult to injury numerous emails and phone calls with the company resulted in a minimal offer of compensation + credit off a future holiday and no explanation as to what happened.

In summary if all goes well it's fine but if anything goes wrong it appears the senior management do not get involved.

I too was on the recent fated trip to Vienna and cannot emphasise enough the poor quality of the tour leader and numerous shortcomings on this musical city break. Substandard hotel - my room was dirty on arrival, and the hotel bar was closed on 2 of our 4 nights. Poor knowledge of Vienna from tour leader, bad organisation (like getting everywhere early and endless hanging around.) The nail in the coffin was the final night, when our itinerary promised an upmarket restaurant and concert venue and were asked to 'dress smart.' We ended up at a student dive and had a foul meal, then told the concert venue had changed and went there in taxis. It was closed. The tour leader was nowhere to be seen. We paid for our own taxis back to the hotel. The last morning we had to pack and leave the hotel at 9am as we were booked for a ride on the famous Vienna Ferris Wheel. We got there at 9.15 to find the place didn't open until 10. We left at 11 and got to the airport 45 minutes before check in opened and had to stand around for all that time. The company have offered a derisory refund of £150 and £50 off a future booking!! As if. Disgusted at their attitude.

Be extremely careful if you are considering a holiday with One Traveller
My recent trip to Vienna was dreadful, dangerous and upsetting.
1 On the final evening the group did not get the promised concert because the tour guide, Paul, gave the wrong address and we ended up at a closed venue, he never joined us and we were abandoned in the cold and dark centre of Vienna. We never got to the concert
2 Paul, the tour guide, lacked knowledge, enthusiasm and any organisation skills.
3 Despite notifying One Traveller of my food allergies, the hotel nor the restaurants had any knowledge of them so it was a constant and stressful time throughout the holiday and having to organize alternative dishes, which generally were below standard.
No doubt One Traveller will respond by saying ‘get in touch with our customer services’. This has been done both individually and as a group. The response a derisory offer of compensation and meaningless words of regret

The trip was well organised and the tour manager personable and enthusiastic. The local guides employed were very knowledgeable. It was a very busy schedule that fitted a lot in. A great trip.

The SA trip was amazing superbly organised from start to finish the venues were all marvellous with one notable exception right at the end in Victoria Falls the Booma was not a good call and I would recommend you remove this from the tour - however everything else was superb - Tour Manager Alison was truly great very caring a bundle of laughs bur always professional the other guides Dylan and Bronwyn were likewise very good knowledgeable and very organised - we saw such amazing sights yes we saw the Big Five but oh so much more I'd recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys adventure and exploring different cultures five star all the way and well worth the money
