"NO CONTACT NO CLOCK NO GOOD ORDER 1118865"
Order number 1118865. I purchased a clock from timeshop 4 you. co .uk. on 15th February 2025. The cost was £112.90 and £6.50 for postage and the item was in stock. The postage seemed about right for a UK base company. I paid through PayPal. I waited patiently for news of delivery and/or tracking. On 17th February I had an email from Eurich which said they had received my payment. On 3rd March I emailed Eurich and asked for an update on my order. I have had no reply. Luckily I paid through PayPal who I believe are good at recovering money for items not received. This all seems a bit suspicious. I would think hard before ordering from this company....the email from them came from Germany I think but I ordered from what I thought to be a UK based company.

"Weight Driven Skeleton Wall Clock"
Purchased a weight driven skeleton wall clock.
Beautiful little clock, packaged well and very timely delivery to Ireland. I have come to love the new tick tock in our home.
When I set it up I soon realised that it wasn't in beat meaning the tick tock was uneven. This can happen during transportation. I contacted them to see how to remedy this, they were very quick to respond and it was an easy fix.
I see people on Amazon complaining about it not keeping accurate time. I really enjoyed improving the clock's accuracy and tweaking to get it right, I think those people complaining just don't understand the nuances of a weight driven clock, compared to say a quartz battery operated clock.
I have learned a lot about clocks, just from setting this up and researching on it, and one thing I would recommend from the company is to maybe let people know in the instructions that there is no maintaining power mechanism so when you wind up the chain once a week, this will cause the clock to lose about 20 seconds. To counter this, you will want to adjust the pendulum to allow the clock to gain a little more than 2 seconds a day, to compensate for the 20 seconds you will lose once a week.

"CONSIDERABLE CUSTOMS CHARGE"
The clock that I bought was lovely, well packed, advertised cost of £165.00 however it took over two weeks for the item to arrive and there was an additional customs charge of £69 to pay on top of the original price before Royal Mail would deliver. The item ended up costing me £234.00. I subsequently found the same item available in the UK with next day delivery for £210.00. THE COMPANY DOES NOT MAKE IT CLEAR ENOUGH THAT THERE ARE SIZEABLE CUSTOMS CHARGES. EMAILED THEM ASKING FOR A REDUCTION/CONTRIBUTION TO THE AMOUNT. ANSWER OF NO. BE WARNED!!! BETTER OFF BUYING IN ENGLAND.

"Excellent service to UK"
I was looking for a clock in a block of slate and one from this company appeared in the search results. So I bought it. It looks excellent, is well-made and was shipped in protective packaging which meant it arrived in excellent condition.
Before purchase I read some reviews about customs charges for the UK as the company is in Germany. This is clear from their website if you go to the home page and start from there. However, I also researched the customs regulations for the UK which you can find by searching "gov uk goods sent from abroad tax and duty". If ordering for yourself and the goods are not excise goods and are worth less than £135 then there are no duties to pay. VAT is charged at source and included in the amount paid - so the item was delivered with nothing further to pay. Beware of sending something to someone else as a gift though - the limit is £39.
There were some recommended batteries to buy which I declined as it was a pack of 4 and the clock only requires one. However, when I found out how much those same batteries cost in UK I wish I had bought theirs!
Tracking information was available once the order had been fulfilled and was handled by DHL in Germany and Parcelforce in UK. I should have used a mobile number on the order as I had the text messages from Parcelforce come to my house phone which was fairly unintelligible except for the delivery time estimate. The product was delivered 6 calendar days from ordering.
There is full returns information in the box which explains how to avoid having customs duty deducted from your refund on export back to Germany. I don't expect to need this - but it is good that they are fully aware of the situation and give the information up-front.
I found the company excellent to deal with and would not hesitate to order from them again.

"DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIVE IN UK."
DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIVE IN UK.
I thought like other buyers, that this company was in the UK, well with the .co.uk anyone would think that.
No,no, these are in Germany, and what they don't tell you, when you purchase one of there clocks, you will be charges customs duty before it gets delivered to you.
I was notified by customs and excise that I need to pay £138.00 before my item could be released, I got intouch with timeshop4you.co.uk and said I was very disappointed that one, I was not told that I would, or could be charged by customs, and secondly, I was not happy that I was dealing with a company out side the UK, I had to wait 25 days before I got my money back, and I was still charged for the post and packing, the reason why I had to wait for 25 day to get my money back, is that customs will only hold your purchase for 20 days before they send it back to the seller.
Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

"Unprofessional"
Purchased a pendulum wall clock paid £152 only then found out that I had to pay further import tax of £47 .
would be helpful to stipulate that on the website rather than finding out the hard way. When I finally received the clock it did not work. I Was told It could be a battery issue. I Purchased the suggested batteries that the seller said was best to run the clock. It still failed to work. I returned clock costing me a further £25 on shipping back. It took 2 weeks to return item because the seller failed to retrieve item from the courier. After sending numerous emails to the seller I finally got a refund of £146.This Was not the refund of £152. That I was expecting. I Was told that I was fortunate to get a refund because the clock had arrived back to him wrecked, This was his words. I then asked the seller for proof of the Damaged item that he had received so that I could claim insurance from the delivery company but he failed to reply. I do not recommend this company.

"Scammers."
Scammers.
We were really looking forward to receiving our clock given that we had spent a lot of money on it which was a wedding anniversary gift.
Our clock arrived and looked lovely, unfortunately it did not work, up until this point the seller had been so lovely but this soon changed, We returned our clock in a soft and extremely supportive foam to ensure clock was safe, we also marked the box clearly with fragile tape.
We eventually received a refund but our delivery costs were excluded which we raised with the seller only for seller to refuse £25 delivery refund stating that clock had arrived wrecked?? There was no photographic evidence of this and certainly no mention of this when seller notified that he had received the return!?
This only highlights that seller is in no doubt telling lies.
Seller has well and truly disgusted us and has to be the worst seller that we have ever had to deal with.
Very very disappointed.

"Not as advertized"
This watch was advertized as radio controlled and for sale to the UL market. It is a beautiful watch but is radio-controlled only on Central European Time. If you change the time to UK time, then reset radio control, it resets itself to CET. I want a watch that is radio controlled on GMT/BST. You need to build in the option (as Oregon clocks do) to switch to the UK transmitter. I shall be returning the item for a full refund.
