I hit an Xbox controller and you couldn’t tell that it was refurbished. It looks brand new. It also got delivered in one day.

I bought a laptop that was stated as in pristine condition, exactly what it said on the tin. Immaculate machine. Did check the internals and some dust in the fan along with thermal paste that needed replacing, so not sure if had been done before hand. Battery was not optimal so swapped it out. Can’t fault the condition for the price though.

Sent broken stock via backmarket. Refuse to refund even though it was software faulty on arrival. Scammers.

I have spoken at length with backmarket about the issue. The device is stuck in a restart loop that won't allow me to factory reset the item or remove anything. The device has had all its Google login details removed via google's desktop platform. This was communicated with Backmarket and the seller but they still as of yet have refused to do anything. If the seller had made certain their goods were not faulty when sent - given I had paid for above average quality - they would not have this review. Their lack of action to assist sends the message that they do not care about their customers and would rather run off with the money. And good hardware store could factory reset the item themselves with their own tools.
