Ecom Authority

"Time for a review"
I signed up with Ecom back in May 2023. I intend on doing business with them for a long time. They have done a lot of work on infrastructure, continually improving processes. I've had a personal talk with Dan and Dawson after going through some frustrations, they were very helpful. My personally assigned agent has been fantastic.
If you're considering using them yes, it's legit. No need to worry there. I have zero hesitation to recommend Ecom Authority.
So why 4 stars? 5 stars in my opinion is meeting and/or exceeding expectations. Everyone does have different experiences, every situation is different, it's why you take a look at the averages right? Go in and read reviews, why'd that guy have a rough go of it? Is that an acceptable issue for me? In my case I went into this against their recommendations. So there's one strike against my review.
I figured, ok do this now to get it going with debt, I'll cover the interest and payments instead of putting the money into a 401k while the business builds. I do NOT recommend this approach.
Here is why I would not recommend that method. My personal numbers experience for me, I signed up May 2nd and followed their prompts. I put in my first $10k for inventory May 27th. At that time that amount was recommended to start the store out slow, avoid red flags. I put another $5k in September. I didn't see any returns until mid October, but boy did the sales take off! Put in another $25k in November and $10K more in January 4th. Mid February has come and still have $25k sitting there waiting, they have announced a couple unanticipated issues that arose in January causing delays, hence different experiences for different people. This is a real world review for those wanting to know what can happen. On that note the great thing is, they don't charge their fees until the end of the month, you do have a sales tax service fee. I've spent about $1,000 on that plus their packaging and regular fees. To cover these fees I have brought in $792 profit so far so I am very upside down in this for the first 10 months.
So what were my expectations?
The guy I signed up with talked about the example of a guy putting in $700,000 and getting most of it turned in around 45 days and the goal for the company is a 35% return, often hitting 25%, then showed the slide to expect 15% returns - he commented, we can't put out a different number and have it come in under, we leave that conservative, but we've hit those 25-35% marks (so I planned on 10%). He continued, also anyone he signs up he stays with and makes sure our store is prioritized and is up and making profits in less than 8 weeks (so July 1st wohoo). - ok, so what did I do with this pitch?
My thoughts then turned if I turned my original $10k every 45 days (I had no idea what to expect for turn time just went with his numbers) that'd be 5 turns in 8 months, or $16,105 or $6,000 with a conservative 10% ROI. In 2 years I could start putting $2k to my debt, then let this thing build!!! Yahoo!
I felt like I could handle the debt for 2 years, just won't be building my 401k, but I'd be doing sooooo much better!
I still see infomercials stating 8-12 turns a year and inventory out their door in 30 days in weekly meetings (you still gotta wait for Amazon to receive the product take that into account). I believe they'll get to a consistent 30 days eventually. Like I mentioned they've done a lot with infrastructure, impressive really. They've hired some exceptional people to lead in their organization.
So these are my thoughts on Ecom if you've come here to learn of other's experiences.
This is my opinion, PERSONALLY I would not recommend this to anyone unless you have $150,000 free and clear cash to invest. Get into their gold level, and for 8 months dump in at least $10,000 minimum EVERY month to keep the flow going. $20k would be a much better number. Things should start to build and you'll start getting money into your bank account and create a self running business building a nice retirement for you. On a LARGE level, the fees are an insignificant wash. On a small level, they add up.
Again there may be some who came in with the same numbers as mine and doing better than me. So far I've been paying fees out of my own income to try and let the store build, it's been extremely slow.
I'm moving on with the mindset that I'm looking at a 10% return with 3-4 turns a year. This is very realistic. I feel that is a very good return in my opinion, so I am happy and will be sticking it out, just forgetting about my original thoughts and holding onto the reality. Like any investment, if there are some strong concerns, get it in writing.
Good luck on your decision.

"Definitely consider Ecom"
We have been with Ecom for just about 6 months. It’s been a process and has taken longer than anticipated, but things are flowing well now. We did have a hiccup in communication on an issue with our Amazon store but Ecom Founder, Co-Founder and Head of Customer Relations (think that was his title) were quick to jump on a zoom call with us after hours to discuss, which we appreciated knowing there is a time difference. They promised to resolve the issue and they kept their word. The issue was resolved within a couple days! We look forward to a long lasting business relationship with Ecom. I would say if you’re looking to invest, definitely consider Ecom.

"New store owner.. candid feedback"
I'm a new store owner (just entered month 2) and while new to this experience can say their transparency and quick response times have been VERY impressive. I get weekly updates from the owners on every move the company is making which is super helpful (and they don't just cover the great stuff but challenges they've faced and how they are dealing with them which is real business and I appreciate the candor). Researched them for 3 months and dug deep and must say everything so far has been great. No biz model is perfect and all will have challenges but their prompt attention to address issues with swift action and communication is unique and rare in my experience as a business owner. Will give more details in review as we move further into this model but so far, all good!

"The right company to partner with"
I have been partnered with Ecom since 8/23.They have delivered on everything that they promised to do. My onboarding with Amazon was particularly difficult but the support team at Ecom fought tirelessly to get my store apporved and kept me informed every step of the way. The support, communication, financial interaction have all been excellent.

"Ecom Authority's Superb Customer Service"
Ecom Authority and its staff from the help desk to he guy at the top have been instrumental in helping to address a deactivation issue with my store and the Amazon platform. Due to a medical issue, my initial attempt to establish a store with Amazon came to an abrupt halt. Amazon disabled my original attempt. Now several years later, I elected to partner with Ecom Authority to establish a store. They make addressing the typical issues much easier and almost inconsequential in their ability to help partners to address. They deal in quality products that are known quantities versus a "branded" product that I would have had produced overseas and likely infringing on trademarks and patents.
Has my onboarding taken longer than I would have expected? Yes. But that is due to Amazon's bots not understanding the issues that human's might incur. Dan and company have been invaluable in addressing the issues.

"Would absolutely do again"
They have a lot of systems in place to make the whole experience hands off for you. If you are willing to play the long game and have the capital to generate the sales, the team will do a great job.

"I am a new partner with Ecom Authority…"
I am a new partner with Ecom Authority (EA). So far, the experience has been great. It takes time for things like setting the store, getting brand approvals, listing products etc. There are a few processes that must be handled and handled correctly. EA is doing all that for me. What I have also appreciated is the complete transparency and the responsiveness of the team. They also post regular, weekly updates which are great. All these go a long way for new clients like me that are just getting into this space. Am excited to see what is to come next, and hopefully will be able to scale this business with EA's help to levels that I want!
