They both worked really well together and made the process so easy for me as a buyer. I’ve bought properties from Mortimers before and they have always been good. Thank you to Grace and Matt for being helpful.

We bought our house through Mortimers and we had problems with the chain above us. I contacted Mortimers to chase the solicitors on these two properties above us as our buyer were getting frustrated and the office staff did everything they could do to push the other parties to complete their contracts to a conclusion and finally a completion date.
They were helpful and courteous throughout my daily calls to them.

She made sure I was kept informed at all times and definitely went above and beyond at times when I wasn't hearing back from my solicitors. If I was ever to move again (which hopefully I dont) I would request for Alex again.

Alexandra McMahon is an absolute asset to this company! I think in the whole process of buying a house, Alex was the one who kept me calm as she updated us so regularly especially towards the end with chasing solicitors and venders numerous times a day for updates on exchange.
Alex is super friendly and and can’t do enough for you and she genuinely seems so happy for us now that we have exchanged. I cannot praise her enough- she is amazing at her job!

Coincidentally both the sale and purchase of our new home was with Mortimers but two branches from different towns.
My husband and I were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff in both establishments. Staff were knowledgeable, pleasant and enthusiastic. Mortimers were great at communication, both proactively and in response to queries. A real positive is the fact that someone always answered the phone regionally even if the branch staff were busy, and the fact they were able to look at our records meant we were able to have an informed conversation and sort out any queries or at least pass messages on to the relevant staff. To be able to view properties on a Sunday was also an added bonus.
I would highly recommend both the Clitheroe and Blackburn branches without hesitation.
