"Wilberforce Court action"
We also bought into Wilberforce Court off-plan. We are contacting our solicitors but it would certainly be a good idea to band together.
In fairness, we had a successful investment with Solomon IP with a flat in Leicester which went through, and we are getting the promised 8% return on the managed rental. The costs are higher than we thought but the arrangement works.

"I think we will need to group together…"
I think we will need to group together legally.
I was sold Wilberforce Court off plan. The delays and more delays came and went and the interest on my £35k deposit stopped being paid after 2 months. That's when I realised something was very wrong. Sadly I didn't realise before I handed over my money.
If there is a facebook group this would be wise. I might start one and call it Solomon Investment Partners Legal Action (if there isn't already one).

"Investment lost at hands of Solomon"
As like other comment here, Solomon have taken our deposit money and closed their doors. We invested in The Lock development which we have now understood is delayed.
The blanket response from Solomon to people below washing their hands of this by stating the contract is between the investor and Empire is disgusting, given we put our trust and funds with Solomon and they should remain culpable, responsible and accountable.

"Hi all Solomon Investors"
Hi all Solomon Investors,
I am in the same position as you all, in fear of never recouping my deposit for an apartment that will now not be built.
However, I’m guessing if we can wait for the builders to complete the apartments, we might gain something, one way or another but I don’t know?
Are there any social media groups where I can join in and get support?
Standing together must be better than standing alone, power in numbers?
I am on Facebook and hoping to hear from you…

"I'm shell-shocked to hear about Solomon…"
I'm shell-shocked to hear about Solomon Investment Partners not completing the property. It's hard-earned money which we invest. I bought the property in Wilberforce Court in Hull; I was expected to get the property delivered in the summer and then delayed to December. I was checking updates and found the email dated 27th Nov that they have stopped trading with just an update to contact Empire directly. After reading some other feedback, I discovered that even solicitors are not responding. I'll contact lawyers to see how we can get our deposit back. I highly recommend creating a group of people who are struggling and losing their hard-earned money to make a joint group and then take legal action.

"Stay away from them at all cost (Staring at £25k loss))"
I am writing to share a harrowing experience with Solomon Investment Partners (SIP), a real estate company that has demonstrated a shocking disregard for the well-being of its clients and the integrity of the property market. My recent interaction with SIP has left me compelled to raise awareness about their deceitful practices and the urgent need for action against this organized real estate scam.
In January 2022, I purchased a unit in Consort House under the promise that it was a mortgageable property. SIP assured me that my investment was secure, even pledging to pay interest on the deposit until the completion of the purchase. However, when the time came to mortgage the property, I discovered the shocking reality - the property was impossible to mortgage.
To add insult to injury, SIP's solution was to force clients into exorbitant bridge loans with sky-high interest rates, completely betraying their initial commitments. What's more disturbing is SIP's feeble attempt to save face by claiming they consulted a litigation solicitor to explore solutions for buyers at Consort House.
Their excuse for canceling a scheduled meeting with the litigation solicitor due to "air traffic control chaos" is nothing short of absurd. It is clear that SIP is attempting to cover up their misdeeds and divert attention from the fact that they have sold flats under false pretenses. This is not a mere oversight; it is a well-orchestrated real estate scam that has victimized hardworking individuals seeking a secure investment.
It is disheartening to witness SIP's blatant disregard for their clients and their apparent collusion with other companies in the sales pipeline. The intricate web of terms and conditions they hide behind is nothing more than a smokescreen to evade accountability and mock the judicial system. They are now operating under the name ES1, and I implore you to exercise extreme caution and avoid any dealings with them.
I am calling for immediate attention to this matter in the Parliament, urging lawmakers to investigate and hold the culprits accountable. The victims of this organized real estate scam deserve justice, and it is crucial that swift action is taken to prevent further harm to unsuspecting individuals.
Additionally, it is imperative that the media shines a spotlight on the alarming practices of Solomon Investment Partners (SIP) and brings this organized real estate scam to the forefront of public awareness. A thorough investigation by reputable media outlets can serve as a catalyst for justice and contribute to the collective efforts to expose SIP's fraudulent activities. By amplifying the voices of victims and shedding light on the extent of this deceit, the media can play a crucial role in urging authorities to launch a comprehensive inquiry into SIP's operations. This not only protects potential future victims but also ensures that those responsible are held accountable for their actions. I implore journalists and news agencies to champion the cause of justice and help unveil the truth behind SIP's reprehensible conduct.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering real estate transactions to steer clear of Solomon Investment Partners (SIP) and their affiliated entities. Let us unite against this egregious exploitation and work together to expose and punish those responsible for this reprehensible scam.

"Lost over £80k"
Today, Solomon's website shows a statement that they have ceased trading. We are looking at a loss on 2 properties - H5 in Runcorn and Wilberforce Court in Hull. There is little information on how to recover deposits and we are unable to add contact details here. However, I would appreciate if anyone has any progress or information if they can post here for other victims to be able to act.

"Starts off good and then downhill...."
Starts off good and then downhill....
Highly knowledgeable and helpful to start.. Things will suddenly go quiet once your reservation fee and deposit is made. All of the interconnected enttites(solicitor, broker etc) will be working on your purchase. Be wearing when any company has a split of 5 star and 1 star reviews. Take note and don't be another victim.
The entity ES1 say they aren't connected to Solomon Investment Partners yet they're quoting on the relationship of a separate company and developer. Flags raised.
A long suffering customer

My review was removed, please avoid any of the companies run by the directors (ES1 & Solomon New Homes).
They have lost my savings, avoid at all costs.
