"Morally corrupt company."
Morally corrupt company that would sooner run away with your money at the slightest sign of adversity, than to really serve the interests of customers who they duped into pouring tens of thousands of pounds (in my case more) into over-valued, late running, mortgage unfriendly property investments.

"Solomon & ES1"
Solomon & ES1
We had invested in a build project at Strawberry Hill Newbury through Solomon.
We got a message late on a Friday advising that Solomon would cease trading the next day. Effectively, under 3 hours notice.
We were told we needed to transfer to ES1 but they are part of the same group and the directors are the same. Out of the pan into to the fire perhaps.
The builder of the Strawberry Hill project (Empire) have informed us that our substantial deposit should have been passed on to them and we are awaiting their confirmation to this effect. If so, they say our money is safe. Solomon have not told us where our money is despite repeated requests.
Requests for even the simplest info from Solomon has been stone walled or claims of ignorance. Pathetic.
We are reluctant to instruct ES1 as from our perspective - it is the same team that has been transferred from Solomon and once bitten twice shy as the saying goes..
Solomon has appointed Richard Tonks of BK Plus as receivers richard . tonks @ bkplus . co . uk
Empire can be contacted at sales @ empire . property (nothing else) if you want to get a different angle.
We feel really peed off with Solomon/ES1 as they gave us 3 hours on a Friday to make important decisions, have pressured us to switch to a new company with the same directors that sunk us in the first place.
Obtaining any information from Solomons - even into what type if account our deposit was paid into - has effectively been blocked/ignored and stonewalled. Even told to go look up 'information' ourselves. I kid you not.
Solomon are - well were - members of The Property Ombudsman, Approved Code and PRS Property Redress Scheme.
Also, we will be looking to contact the Insolvency Service 03006780015,
CAB - local office is best. Their national contact is a nightmare.
Action Fraud 03001232040 if you feel that you have been scammed which is obviously a "personal" call.
These may be our next approach when we find out if Empire have our money or if Solomon did not pass it on and its effectively lost.
Please - DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE COMMITTING TO ES1 as we feel we have been taken by them nor can we get any proper feedback we can actually trust or rely on.
If you are a client of Solomon and invested in Empire project at Strawberry Hill Newbury, perhaps speaking to Empire may actually shed some reliable information as to where your money is or isn't.
Note to Solomon/ES1 - please don't post your "reassuring" message and apology. All we wanted was simple information and all you have done is messed us about and claimed ignorance or have failed to update your front line team. Until we find out where we ACTUALLY STAND any comment will be ignored as we cannot trust you to be transparent at any level.
I hope that is clear.

"I have recently been informed that the…"
I have recently been informed that the company I bought from has not been delivering to Solomon and that they basically have nothing to do with them. I am left here not knowing what my future is and have been left to deal with this whole thing in the dark. It is my first and worst investment experience and one of the biggest mistakes of my life.

"Do not use this company who have now…"
Do not use this company who have now become ES1.
Their generic reply on these reviews shows their lack of care.
Hiw have multiple of their developments failed to come into existence? Because they are con artists.
Stay far away from their investment schemes.

"I purchased 2 properties in 2 of their…"
I purchased 2 properties in 2 of their developments. They promised me a completely hands off experience.
They pushed me into their recommended solicitors and seemed to rush the process through from there and took my money.
2 years later, I was constantly trying to contact their client care team about the progress and when they started the mortgages. They never answered. They forced me into using their recomended broker as this was the only point of contact for the developer. They could not find lending on the property after applying 6 weeks before notice to complete was served. At this point I had nothing. I tried several brokers and came back with nothing. I fear I may have been mis sold properties.
I complained to them on the 8th August, they replied back to me 5 weeks later when I emailed Andrew Ward directly. He called me to ask me to take down my review and he would help me. I did as he asked and all that he promised have been lies. He promised to sell the property on, and never put it on the market. He promised to consolidate my deposits into 1 and never did.
I the spoke to a Joseff Lyddon and he put it on the market 2 months after my initial conversationwith Andrew Ward, but this was too late as second notice has now been served.
I have now sent another complaint that is being ignored.

"Sharp Practice! Beware!"
In return for making a reservation to acquire a property, The Portus Group Ltd T/A Solomon Investment Partners ("TPG") agreed to pay my wife 3% interest per annum on her deposit, the interest being payable monthly. On 23 November 2022 Lisa Cooper, Director, informed her in writing that interest would no longer be payable monthly but would instead be payable on completion together with a 10% uplift due to the change in timing. After completion the debt remains unpaid and Lisa Cooper, Director, informed my wife that TPG has now ceased trading. The Directors of TPG are Lisa Cooper, Marian Ward and Andrew Michael Ward, who is, I understand, a person with a significant interest in TPG and who is also subject to a Disqualification Undertaking). Properties previously marketed by TPG are now seemingly being marketed by Esolone Ltd (of which Lisa Cooper and Marian Ward are directors and of which Andrew Michael Ward is, I understand, the owner via Solomon Group Holdings Ltd). Do not deal with TPG and I highly recommend you do not deal with Esolone Ltd due to commonality of Directors and owner.

"Solomon Investment closed down, trading under ES1...Avoid at all costs!!!!"
I am in the same boat as so many posting on here, I purchased a property through Solmon Investment for Ringway, Newcastle, and I am set to lose in excess of 40,000.00 pounds.
I have been advised through a contact that Solomon Investment Partners has recently closed its doors and are now trading under a company called ES1.
No response, numbers cut off, Lockings Solicitors are refusing to have any acknowledgement around the holding deposit paid through to Solomons.
The whole thing is an absolute scam...

"Customer service absent. No way to contact them"
I invested in a property in Newcastle due for completion in Q4 2022. It was clear things had overrun but no one contacted us to advise. Only when requesting our deposit back were we told that it would be pointless as if the developer went to administration no one would get anything and so we just left it. New end date in the lovely glossy brochure still states Q4 2023 but still no contact or preparation time for us to get finance sorted. Call them and email them no response. I am not yet sure if I have lost the deposit and exchange monies or if this will ever complete. But my complaint is more about the customer service from Solomon investment, they are so hot and attentive to get you on board and now I can’t speak to anyone. I was told by Lockings solicitor that they had had no success in obtaining deposits and exchange funds back since the long stop date clause is not met. If anyone has been successful then I would like to know how.

"Avoid Solomons Investment Partners"
Im in the same position as all the other investors which have been scammed. Have been served completion notice on Linacre House Bootle which is nowhere even close to being finished. So many issues: pre planning breaches, long stop date breached, whole site not completed to promised specifications and etc. Please check all social media platforms and try to get in contact with one another so we can start to collectively fight back.
