Excellent experience so far. I emailed the company with some ideas for an itinerary for a multi centre holiday in Thailand and Cambodia and they got back to me straight away to let me know they were working on it. The next day I had an itinerary and quote back, I wanted to make some changes to this and they were very accommodating and made some suggestions to add to the holiday. The price was great, the hotels they suggested are lovely, all international flights, internal flights and transfers are included as is breakfast in all hotels, and full board in khao sok national park. The price also includes tour guides in Angkor wat and Khao sok. Everything is in place for a hassle free holiday of a lifetime! Fingers crossed!

We recently booked our holiday to the Maldives with the help of Sean Arora, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dean was our agent dealing with our booking. He was excellent and extremely patient during the whole selection and booking process, especially as we had a two centre holiday.
Even though we now have to wait 4 months for our holiday, this initial booking process was dealt with very professionally.

"Kerela February 2025"

We booked a 16 night trip to Kerela between the 3rd February and the 18th February, and our experience was in no small part due to the excellent support we received from Affordable Luxury.

Firstly our dedicated driver Anil was wonderful. He was always polite, helpful, insightful, and flexible regards the arrangements, as and when we requested some flexibility. We were sorry Anil had to leave us a day early, but we fully understand why, and even why not our dedicated driver, he stayed in contact with us, and again was available for us when needed any help

We were very happy with Prahteesh at Affordable Luxury, who again was very helpful, as and when we needed any support .

In short our experience was greatly enhanced by the Affordable Luxury team throughout the whole trip, and would highly recommend them to anybody thinking of taking a similar trip.

Our experience so far in the booking stage of our holiday with Affordable Luxury Travel has been excellent.
Kevin our liaison has been spot on from the initial interaction we had with him, he has been very knowledgeable and efficient plus there has been great communication throughout the booking process. It really was a pleasure to speak with him and book our Thailand holiday. We are now looking forward to our break!

"Enchanting Kerala 13 Night tour FANTASTIC!"

Our trip was Enchanting Kerala Escorted Tour, which was just our group of 4. Goodness, where do I start? Well from the second I made first contact, with Peter Kharbanda who was so helpful, answering questions, booking the holiday etc. Then other colleagues too, answering emails and phone promptly, even on Sundays, passing on messages, prompt call-backs helping with info for the Indian Visas (a complicated procedure it has to be said!). But then we arrived in beautiful Kerala, to be greeted by Dileep, the Affordable Luxury Rep, and our fantastic driver for the week, Ajmal (AJ). Our group of 4 were led to our luxury minibus for the week, Wifi connection sorted, and Dileep accompanied us to the hotel and en route, explained he was our contact if needed, any time throughout the holiday, and AJ would help with any local issues. We were also approached in our first hotel by Thomas, another Affordable Luxury rep, who wanted to ensure we were happy with our room, and everything to do with our journey and the transport we had been given. Both he and Dileep took our phone numbers and set up a Whatsapp group for easy contact in case of need. There were no issues, everything was planned by Affordable Luxury in minute detail, and AJ knew exactly what our itinerary was, and was a fantastic driver, weaving smoothly through the tuk-tuks, motorbikes, buses, cars etc that came from all directions. AJ was the perfect person to take us, pointing things out along the way, stopping for photos, finding exactly the right places for lunch, which costs virtually nothing. He also took us to the government run alcohol suppliers, to buy some drinks to have in our rooms, as many of the hotels are dry, or maybe just serve beer and wine in the restaurant. But that didn't cause us a problem, since all the hotels, and the houseboat were so luxurious, and all had either terraces, large balconies or verandas for us to sit and enjoy the view, with our own gin & tonic and wine. The hotels did not have a problem with this.
So onto our hotels. Stunning, huge rooms, huge beds, all had a mini fridge for our drinks. The buffets were, without exception, fabulous. Varied in spiciness, with plenty for all tastes if anyone needed the odd break from spice. We hardly lifted a finger - no need to lug our luggage anywhere, or even walk the long distance in 1 hotel to our beach room if we didn't want to, as there was a buggy service. The itinerary was clearly very carefully put together, as every day had wow factors, leaving us thinking the next day couldn't possibly be any better. But all the experiences were so different, and interesting that we had wow factors every day. It was hard to pick our favourite thing each day, and impossible to pick even 2 or 3 for the whole trip, as everything we did was wonderful. We hardly spent anything other than in the alcohol stores or tips. Lunch costs whilst out were around £14 for 4 people, and the entrance fees for the various places was covered in the holiday cost. So overall, the cost of this trip was fantastic value for money, and a fabulous experience. It has to be said that Kerala is absolutely beautiful, so green and lush, and each area we stayed was very different and had its own charm. We loved it so much that we are considering going back to do one of the other tours, which covers different areas, (apart from revisiting Alleppy for another night on the houseboat, but that would be fabulous as it was one of the highlights of the trip. If we could have AJ again for that trip, it would be the icing on the cake - he definitely enhanced our experience, and became an integral part of the adventure.
So yes, we would highly recommend Affordable Luxury, with the support both in the UK and in Kerala, and the Enchanting Kerala trip is a must.

"Sri Lanka & Maldives "

We just home from unforgettable holiday to Sri Lanka & Maldives. We are so pleased we chose ALT as our holiday provider.The holiday itinerary was very well scheduled, communication was great, and responses were swift no matter how many changes or questions we had.
Our private Sri Lankan guide Danuka Jayamal made our holiday extra special, his knowledge, caring personality, flexibility with timings for excursions made our trip trully the one we will never forget.
We could not recommend Danuka as a guide highly enough.
We were met at the airport by a guide, but left Sri Lanka with a new friend in our hearts.
