"Not as good company as it seemed "

They make training enjoyable gave a welcome card and provide snacks and learnt new things like CPR medication etc

Then ........

They totally change makes work stressful hard never finish on time due to work load and management are extremely hard to reach and if I leave they will take training money and travel back so I'm stuck

"Poor company "


Right at Home Cardiff has consistently fallen short of expectations. Despite their premium charges, the service provided is subpar. The management appears to be absent, and the carers’ punctuality is lacking, often arriving late and leaving early. This lack of reliability extends to their communication, as I am not notified when carers enter through the back gate, raising concerns about accountability. Furthermore, the reduction in service hours, while still charging for full service, is unacceptable and misleading. Overall, the experience has been disappointing and does not justify the high costs.

Poor company I’ve ever seen in my whole life, please don’t waste your money over right at home.

"Avoid! "

It has taken several months to write this review, due to the stress and mental fatigue that myself and my family went through. To be blunt, I wouldn't trust the particular franchise of Right at Home that we used to look after a stuffed animal!
During the 11months at we employed our local franchise to look after our mother, who has several different types of dementia, we went through a meds overdose, letting mum run out of medication and not informing us, carers administrating meds incorrectly, the use of a supermarket carrier bag to collect a urine sample left in her toilet for over 12hrs. A black carrier bag used for the same purpose left in her toilet full of faeces and urine. When the sample was taken from the tesco bag, it obviously wasnt sterile or fresh when dropped to the doctors surgery the next day. Carers not turning up and the office not even knowing that they were not working, carers without adequate dementia training, they had no clue how to engage with mum or talk to her, food not being offered, carers who had been in the country a week and didn't know mums name! Lack of timetables to show who was attending on the given day. Up to 7 different carers within a 4 day period! Dealing with the Chichester owner was like dealing with a politician! Evasive and useless. She deflected any blame on to my mum or muself! I could go on and on! I would say to anyone using a care agency, do your research. Read all the reviews! Most of the 5* ones on here are from employees! I expect to see the generic response in reply to this, which proved that they really couldn't care less. Anyone can buy a franchise with zero experience and zero training!

"No doubt, they are the best"

I have been with Right at Home now for nearly 3 years. I can say without doubt, this is the best company I have worked for. The care and attention to detail is near perfection. The support from national office to the local branch is amazing. I can fully recommend the Right at Home brand

I work for right at home and can honestly say this is the place to be,and I look forward to seeing my clients and ,I feel listened to and also supported by management. They are very fair and honest and treat the staff with respect and always puts the staff first,this is a fantastic company work for and I am proud to be part of the team 😀

"My first 4 Months working for National Office"

My work for the right at Home National Office involves travelling around the UK to support a variety of Franchise Owners.
The company its self is structured perfectly to support growth both in business terms and for employees top to bottom.
I have seen countless reasons why RatH have a 5 star employer status, such as annual conferences, monthly franchise communication calls, registered manager forums, advisory council meetings, peer support groups and more.
The company has recently received the Princess Royal training award too.
Personally, I have had a fantastic induction, my role is simplified with KPI's, my team have regular meetings, my line manager is always on hand to support. There's a Gold Standard progression plan which is continuously assessed too.

All in all, this is a fantastic company with so many outstanding achievements and I can't speak highly enough of the people who are lucky enough to work here at National Office.

"Stopped my wife’s care with 2 weeks notice"

I have no complaints about the care staff they are very professional and have looked after my wife very well over the last year.
My problem is that the management have now decided they can no longer provide care for my wife and given just 18 days notice. I work full time so this limits the amount of time I can spend looking for a new care provider for my wife.
I will never know the real reason for them giving notice but I suspect it’s due to poor management of staff rotas.

"Avoid My first interview was cancelled…"

Avoid My first interview was cancelled i was then asked to attended a.interview the next day 3 days later the office telephone to inform me that I had been successful, they gave me a written contract and
asked me to attend 4 days training i attended the first day then they informed.me the rest of the 3 days training.had been cancelled, we then had to wait another 2 weeks for training which novice trainers turn up.and would not show us proof of their qualifications, the training was in a cold ,dirty over crowded rented building they inform us about their mental, physical.problems and talked terribly about their children personal life mental.and physical problems, they took copies of all our personal documents.references ,driving paymentfor dbs ,,, half way through training the so called trainer from.this franchise company ask 3 people to.leave as their was no.job ,
We had to report the company as all.our documents ,bank details, references have been taken
