"Don't believe when they call you offering discount!!!"

I am extremely frustrated with my recent experience with this company. When I signed up for this plan, I was clearly informed that there would be no charges for the first two months, totalling £50, along with a £50 voucher to be issued after the two-month period. However, I’ve noticed charges for the first two months on my account, which does not match what I was told.

To make matters worse, when I requested a call recording to verify the details of our conversation, I was told that no Hyperoptic number had called me. Essentially, they implied that I was lying about the entire situation. After sending them proof that a Hyperoptic number did indeed contact me, I expected some acknowledgment of the mistake. Instead, I’ve been left feeling dismissed and ignored.

"Unresolved mysterious outage"

I’ve been with Hyperoptic for 4 years and it used to be reliable up until a few weeks ago. Now, my whole building - and square in Dalston is having issues. There’s been an outage that somehow still hasn’t been resolved, and every time one of us calls in they give different information. For example when I called up a couple of days ago, and after a long time waiting in the queue, they said no issues were reported, even though I know many neighbours have been calling.

I’m a freelancer in tech, and work remotely so this has been causing me some serious problems. I can’t go through a single zoom / google call without dropping out a few times. It’s been having a serious impact on my work.

On top of all of this, they just raised my prices - doing what all internet providers too, punishing long term customers by relying on forgotten direct debits and charging more than what’s advertised for new customer on the website. I’m now paying an extra +£10 / month to have a patchy AF internet.

Rest assured, a lot of us will be switching to another provider if this doesn’t get handled asap.

"Poor connection and service. "

When we initially subscribed to your service, we were promised a speed of 1Gbps. However, over time, the speed has drastically reduced, and we are now experiencing only 120-130 Mbps, which is significantly lower than what was committed.

Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection has become increasingly unstable, frequently disconnecting at random times. This has been causing major disruptions, especially when working online and streaming content. We had previously reported this issue, but unfortunately, no action has been taken to resolve it.
