"Poor matching coordinator, Awesome LCC"

This was my seventh time searching for an au pair and I'm sorry to say that the matching coordinator that was assigned to me this time, was by far the most useless. Although they aren't ever very involved, our matching specialist was not helpful. We had a set intro meeting that I set on her calendar and she was 25 minutes late to show up. I only had 5 minutes before I had to jump back to a work meeting. I also texted and emailed her ahead of time letting her know exactly what I was looking for that she didn't even bother to read.
Then over a week later she finally looked at my likes and went ahead and connected to someone without asking me that was a complete miss.
Thank goodness for my local LCC. She was there for me every step of the way. She was able to give me sound advice, helped me a bit behind the scenes with explaining why candidates were turning us down and was checking in with us every step of the way.
If it were up to me, I'd much rather give her the $450 matching fee. She deserved it 100%.
