The captain was friendly but the “whale watching” boat tour was a flop. Essential we saw a few turtles and got to swim/snorkel in an area so close to shore we could’ve swim out. If I had booked a cruise to go see Honolulu from the water that would’ve been one thing. Also our boat was quite slow compared to other tours that day. Captain didn’t seem particularly optimistic or interested in finding whales—I’ve been on tour where captain’s reach out and contracts other boats, etc. but here no effort was made. I essentially wasted five hundred dollars. For half an hour at a mediocre snorkeling spot and three hours of our day we could’ve done much better for house $500.

Overall nice trip. The captain was not real enthusiastic but the marine biologist was great! Saw a few whales from far away so didn’t get good pictures

When I called to check on a whale watching tour, I spoke to Leslie. She was so very helpful. My husband has some mobility issues, so I had questions about him getting on the boat. She put me on hold and called the boat operators to check on his needs. She also gave me some good suggestions on parking locations.
