"Deceiving websites "

The company offers these knives that are crafted by Japanese craftsman and they are actually made in China. They sent cheap knock off cheap knives instead. Well, they still gain when you return them. You have to pay 20% restocking fees and shipping where it was not specifically stated on the websites. Quite a few complaints from BBB. Knockoff and scams.

Update: no where on the website that they state specifically charging up to 20% restocking fees. It is highway robbery and scams. They are making 100% profit gain from restocking price. Same knives are sold for fraction of a price. Buyer beware.

Sadly, Seido products are all made in China. Seido hides this on their website and pre-purchase documents.

Seido purposely misleads consumers by emulating itself as a Japanese company and products with the name and logo which features apparently Japanese writing. Be aware!!

"I've owned this set for 10 months now…"

I've owned this set for 10 months now and I'm extremely disappointed. My cheap Walmart set held up better than these overpriced garbage knives. Rust spots appearing on all my knives. They don't hold an edge for crap and recently noticed the Damascus pattern is fake. It looks liked it laser etched into the blade to make it look like real Damascus. Save your money folks.
