Not only are the knives beautiful and ultra sharp, but when my set came with a damaged knife handle, I contacted Seido Knives and received an immediate response...on a weekend! i figured I would have to box up my knife set and send it back to receive a replacement set, but no!! Their representative, Azalea, sent me a replacement knife for the damaged one and I didn't have to send them a thing!! Not only are the knives incredible, but Seido's customer service is second to none!!! I will recommend the company and their products to everyone I know!!

First, to get a return RMA, we needed to text with the customer support personal and answer questions (No questions asked!) over multiple days.
Second, we were told there would be a 20% restocking fee and that we would have to pay for return shipping (we will gladly refund your money).
Third, the return policy is difficult to locate and is vague (may include a restocking fee) once you do find it.

This review has nothing to do with the quality of the ordered knife sharpening kit as it was never opened. It was not gifted as we had intended to do.

I will state that I have really enjoyed using the 'Kiritsuke Damascus Japanese Chef Knife' that I ordered over 6 months ago.

This review has to do with the company's front page statement "If you don't like our products over the next 30 days, then we will gladly refund your money."
Nothing could be further from the truth! A truthful statement would be "If you don't like our products over the next 30 days, then we will gladly refund a percentage of your money (less 20% restocking fee and return postage). Let's be honest in advertising!

Finally, The BBB (Beter Business Bureau) has rated this company an 'F'. Seido, you can do better than this!

Claims to be the world's sharpest Knife. Not even close. Received the 5-knife set for $150 and were not as sharp as my supermarket knives. They look nice though. I tried to sharpen them and found they did not sharpen well. Bought as Xmas present so I tried to return but was denied because I was a few days over the 30-day limit. All hype and a lousy product.

"I purchased a 9- Piece Master Chef…"

I purchased a 9- Piece Master Chef Knife Set for $225. At first, the design, the weight, and the sharpness gave an initial wow factor. About 2 weeks into use, after careful care such as hand washing and drying, we immediately noticed rust on the tip of one of the blades.

We emailed support and were immediately hit with a boiler plate statement from the Ai bot about how the knives aren’t covered under warranty and we shouldn’t put them in a dishwasher.

Very disappointing!

I love the look and feel of the knives . To be honest I have had then for a year now. So I decided to write a review now that I have used them on average 5-6 times a week . They are super sharp , comfortable , customer service was great . Like any knife you need to take care of them, you have to keep on any knife you get doesn't matter how good they are they all need to be sharpened or honed every once in a while . These knives are amazing and will last me my lifetime and hopefully my kids will use them after I'm gone
