"Poor quality knife"

Knife arrived a month late with a damaged tip. Packaging was sub-par.
My complaints to Seido could not be addressed by phone as they can not be reached that way.
Email and chat were long winded responses with no resolution.
Knife was quite sharp until I cut a watermelon and then it became blunt. Clearly very poor quality steel.
I wrote a 1-star review on their site but it never showed up.
I complained to my credit card company and the bank gave me a refund. Thank you CIBC!!
A wrote a complaint to BBB, where they are rated as an F company. BBB could not reach them and in a final statement they told me to take them to court. I won't take them to court for a $110 knife of course. I suggest that anyone having poor experience with Seido take it straight to BBB. My next step is to contact law enforcement.

"I placed my order way back on May 17th…"

I placed my order way back on May 17th and still don't have it. Baring in mind I paid over £200 for it they sent it so it came by royal mail. The parcel was left by royal on my doorstep, when I returned home from work it had been stolen!! I reported this to Seido, I have done everything asked, reported the crime, provided a crime reference number. I have chased every single day with sometimes absolutely no reply, asking what is happening, I keep getting told it's being looked into, what's to look into????? Appalling customer service and I am over £200 with NO product.

I’m giving them 3 stars because the knife was great! However, 5 months ago I had an issue with them sending the wrong knife and it took me several angry emails and poor reviews and if I had not written another email in June 2023 I would have not received the support I needed.
So three stars because they finally did send me the correct knife plus a free knife sharpener for the inconvenience, however, I had to leave two off because I felt I was pulling teeth to get a response for the months prior.

I am not here to bash the brand, but if you expect the quality and service Seido boasts in their ads - forget it!
The ad states they have a 100% Risk Free Guarantee - that is a lie. They will charge return shipping to Canada and a 20% restocking fee - that does not sound like a 100% Risk Free Guarantee to me. They say they have the sharpest blades ever made - that is a lie. As a matter of fact when I challenged the sharpness of the blade they told me they came with a "factory edge for safety purposes" - any one want to explain what that means??? And they told me I needed to sharpen the blade for best performance. BTW, the return would only be accepted if the product had not been opened - how is one to determine the need to return it if they do not open and inspect the product? To be clear, I am no longer seeking a return and refund - I want others to be aware of this scam - I already fell into it and bought two sets!!!
