7/11/22 today I received my knives 1st thing horrible packaging someone packed it in their garage. 2. Boxes dented looked like clearance. 3. Knives don't look like describe. Returning. 7/14/22 I was told that Seido knives were shipped from overseas by a team member. So I guess that was untrue statement.

"I have been scammed by this website"

I have been scammed by this website. They are from Canada but they did not disclose it online. I was charged a foreign transaction fee on my credit card after the order. They don’t have Japanese Seido kitchen products. They are selling Chinese “Xituo” bulk manufactured products that you can buy on aliexpress for as low as $5.48 for the scissors I bought. I was charged $49.98 for a DUO kitchen scissors. I had to email them for return because their online message platform did not work. But they won’t accept returns once the product was open and they charge a 20% “restocking fee”. The return address is in Canada and they did not disclose it online neither. The kitchen scissors package was a unsealed cheap plain black box. There was no Seido trademarks on neither the box or the scissors. They are doing business without honesty and satisfaction. This can not be happening here in the US! The website is seidoknives.com. Stay away. If you are a victim, report it.

Cheap rebranded Chinese knives for extortionate price. Same knives available on Ali express for fraction of price.
Don’t get scammed by these sales companies on facebook.

I asked a question what the difference was from their knives and the exact same ones on Ali express on Facebook. My post was deleted and blocked from further comments.

I truly love the craftsmanship and look and feel of every knife I purchased. They are very sharp and easy to handle. I now started my collection of fine cutlery to use and show off to my friends and family. I thank you again and I will make sure that I preserve the beautiful surface of each knife so that they will remain prestine for years to come. I will be buying more in the future. 5 stars all the way.

I am so happy I purchased these knives right before grilling season officially begins! I love cooking for my family but I have to admit that I am not the best at carving meat. These knives just made that task so much easier! I was about to purchase a similar set at a local store but decided to take a look online. These knives cost me a fraction of the price and are probably better quality! Needless to say, I recommend them to all my guests.

"Save your money"

Save your money. These are not Japanese hand made knives. They’re made in China! Do your research. You can buy these knives on Aliexpress for less money. I fell for the scam you don’t have to. When my knives arrived they looked great, then I used them. To my disappointment my 30 year old set from Chicago Cutlery was sharper than my new Seido knives. I wanted to return them. They made the return next to impossible and I asked for a manager who immediately defended the claims but was willing to offer an additional 20% off. Seeing how returning would cost close to $50 with restocking fees and return postage I kept the knives. They have to be sharpened every time you use them. They are not even close to being the “sharpest knife in the world.” They’re not even the sharpest knives in my kitchen. Bulk made in a factory in China.
