"1810-11 map of The Solent and Isle of Wight"

5 Stars! Excellent map, beautiful looking with fast despatch. I'm very pleased and it will prove very useful in my research.

However, the map is dated 1810-11 but it shows features that I know to be of a later date (parliamentary enclosure of Parkhurst Forest c.1812, construction of Ryde Pier c.1815) meaning this must be a later revision that carries the original publication date.

This is no criticism of Francis Frith, I realise they are working with the information they have from the source material, hence the 5 Stars, I simply point this out in the hope that future customers are aware of the discrepancy.

I will certainly be making future purchases of the two further 19C maps of the Isle of Wight.
