"Don't listen to negative reviews"

To be honest, I was very sceptical before booking my cpc training through driverhire after reading the reviews!! However I can honestly say that the trainers were brilliant and made it interesting for everybody, they were by far the cheapest for all 5 days training too and so I would highly recommend booking your training via driver hire. I received my brand new dqc card today and so everything has been uploaded etc without fail.

"What a load of garbage"

What a load of garbage, did a 5 day course 8 hours a day including breaks.
Lets get it straight out there you can not repeat any module within a 5 year period.
1. If thats the case how do you justify between 60 and 70% of each module being repeated not word for word but absolutely the same subject rehashed.
2. 35 hours training well it takes the powerpoint readers 30 mins to get through there Political Correctness address. Example if your house/flat catches fire make your way to the nearest exit (really)this happens twice a day as well as the rest of the garbage they spout this is without doubt time padding.
3. Content of Module: Probably if your lucky 30% is relevant to that subject. They will veer off subject at any opportunity to pad out the training time they have.
4. We as Professional Drivers have to pay for this luxury (or take a days Holiday) because it is the Law, some are lucky enough that they don't and rightly so.
5. Going back to the top absolute garbage some of the stories the powerpoint readers were coming out with wouldn't have got by in in the 70s
6. Avoid at all cost this is ultimate crap

"Scalper attitude from a big successful company. AVOID THEM"

I had to not attend a CPC course due to a slight error on my part , misu derstanding the T and Cs. Despite being a massive company , and one I worked for on the agency side for several years they would not budge and give me a credit on a rebook of a CPC course despite the fact that I was happy to book more courses with them.
I know they were within their rights in the small print but to take my £40 when I am skint and renewing my license I think this is very poor indeed.
Avoid, there are plenty of other trainers out there and if this is their attitude to an honest mistake then I would not trust them with anything else.

"Shocking customer service"

Shocking customer service. Cannot reach any of them on the phone numbers provided, even on their personal signatures. Wasted money trying to book module 2 & 4 on CPC course. Save yourself time and money by just booking it yourself on the government website.

Better than I expected, I was a bit apprehensive after reading reviews on here so I booked a day at a time, but didn't have any problems, training links arrived everyday on time as promised, I had Simon F or Richard D throughout the 5 day cpc, both of my Trainers had extensive knowledge in logistics sector & was always happy to answer any questions, this was my first periodic cpc & I thought it would just be another box ticking exercise, but instead, learnt a hell of a lot, very pleased with my training, & looking forward to the future, driving hgvs, thankyou driverhire

"HGV and C1 training courses"

I wanted some advice on the route to take to train for my category C1 licence (7.5 tonne vans). There are various routes you can take and training methods and it is a complex set of regs and requirements needed which I found confusing.
Paul at Driver Hire answered all my questions and gave me the info I needed. Clarified the issues I had so it was great to talk to him and he was patient and helpful. Because of this I will be using Driver Hire on-line training courses to get my necessary CPC modules and my licence. I will separtely review their on-line courses once I have done them.

Fantastic so much better than being in class room. Seems like you can learn more online then in class room. If with lads from work all you do is mess about, online everyone just gets on with it and gets involved. The chaps doing it are fantastic. I will definitely be back. When people say it’s a scam load of crap it’s called follow simple steps and don’t guess!
