"Returning wines isn't as "easy" as I thought"

I've used Laithwaites for some years now and have generally been happy with the wines and service. However, for the first time I wanted to return a few bottles of wine because this particular wine wasn't to our taste. They advertise easy returns. Well so far it's not easy. I contacted them initially via the website (chat), was transferred to an operator who agreed to have the wines collected but couldn't give a date or time. Strike one. The wines have been sitting waiting to be collected for a couple of weeks now - and I don't get the refund until they've been collected. Strike two. I've sent a number of messages by email and via the website. No response. Strike three. They have no problem delivering a new order - came within a few days. But their claim that returning wines you don't like is "easy" so far hasn't stacked up.
*Update* They've now been in touch to arrange collection. The messages I sent were via their website email contact form - if those weren't received then that's something they should look at. So be wary if you use their website to send messages!

I ordered my wine , a case of 12 top reds , plus 2 free bottles and glasses,it arrived 2 days later. I have now tried 2 bottles , can’t fault them. My wine rack looks good too.

Bouvray Dubois on offer plus a complimentary voucher made this a bargain easy to appreciate the 4+ rating has become a favourite for my wife. Never disappointed.
