"My reservation was cancelled one hour…"
My reservation was cancelled one hour before I was due to check in, this happened despite receiving a confirmation email with key pick up details one hour before!! I was left stranded and incurred substantial costs finding somewhere to stay. I was given conflicting reasons as to why the booking was cancelled, Covid in the property and that the previous guest caused damage meaning the appartment could not be let. Appalling communication throughout the whole process. Sorry to say I will not be using this company again.

We were a long way from home, working long hours and Ironmonger House was lovely to come back to each evening!
We were very disappointed not to be able to book it again for next week

"It was marginably ok as venue and below average customer management..."
Well the person that turned up to hand over the keys was appently not on her patch - whatever that means? not the brightest. Did not know who we were and drifted around the meeting point looking for lord knows what then she got lucky. Being bright we had worked it out so having handed over the key she was now redundant and in the 'customer care' left a lot to be desire and possibly alternative employment as a street entertainer.
The flat itself was fine it had the touch of 'eastern European' taste in bling (we have seen worse) but brearable as the whole point was the view and NOT the noise from the dockyard that clearly shut at 19:00 (that's 7pm fo those that can't work it out.
The people with restricted access to the English language on the end of the phone were just that a pain to undersatnd and I really did not thave time run a basic course in communications.
All in all an intersting experience not likely to be repeated since this was a one off trip and should we decide to come back there are other place that don't require a linguistics degree or a being partialy sighted for decor.

The place was okay and quite quiet for being so close to the station, a bit different to what is shown on the pictures. However cutlery etc in the drawers wasn’t clean, there was an awful smell in the kitchen, dining table chair was broken and saw on a review it had been reported months ago, bed sheets were ripped. There is also no parking available on premises as it states on air b n b, which was really frustrating as parking around the place was a nightmare.

Was a wonderful weekend, everything is to a high standard and very spacious, only thing is, it was a little problematic to get hold of someone during the stay, it could be made easier to get hold of someone. Apart from that, I definitely recommend this lovely place.

"Absolutely diabolical customer service"
Where do I start?
1. The form that get you to complete online is not mobile or Apple-enabled!
2. They don’t tell you you have to go elsewhere to get the keys until you complete the booking.
3. The key collection instructions tell you to get the key from a lockbox at the back of a property. In the dark there’s no visible indication of the property.
4. The key collection instructions were wrong - the lockbox was empty.
5. Nobody answers the phone when there’s a problem with collecting the keys.
6. The flat itself was very difficult to find - no instructions on how to get to the car park for the flat.
7. The car parking space is below ground and it’s restricted height access - about 5’8’’. We couldn’t get an SUV in the car park. There is no mention of this in the property description.
8. The owner of KH Homes told us to park in the public car park 1/2 a mile away!
9. We never got to see the property so no idea what it’s like.
10. It took two weeks to get a refund!
I would not book a property manager by this company. If I owned the property I would get someone else to manage it.

"Worst customer service I have ever had..."
Worst customer service I have ever received. No one turned up to give us a key after insisting we arrive bang on 4pm, and I received a text after 20 minutes of waiting to go and pick the key up from a location 30 minutes away. I called the business number and the woman kept me on hold for 50 minutes without any resolution, apparently on the phone to head office trying to locate a staff member in the area to bring us the key. They stopped responding to me so I had to call from my partners number to tell them I wanted a refund and that I'd find a hotel to stay at elsewhere. Someone called me back about an hour later to tell me it was a 'Covid shutdown', which I expect was the excuse they came up with after scrambling to find a reason for this awful service. I asked the person on the phone if the location they wanted us to initially collect the key had an infected person at it, to which she laughed and said she didn't know. Don't waste your time with these jokers!
