We spent a long time researching the market before we chose Trade Oak who we decided offered not only the best value for money kit but the designs which used the most substantial sized oak beams...and we are so happy with our choice.

Our triple garage/ workshop is an amazing building... much admired by friends and neighbours. Ed and James proved to be a very helpful pair and enabled us to adapt one of their standard kits so the finished design was perfect for our needs and building control requirements.

Aidan Handley with his team set to work in the snow when the kit was delivered on time and everything went like clockwork. We loved the outbuilding so much that we decided to incorporate an oak frame in our kitchen extension which, between Aidan and Ed, they designed to be a unique but complementary addition to our 1920s
house.

We can only recommend Trade Oak and their team most highly for their quality, value for money and design ingenuity.

Very professional customer service and competitively priced.
We ran into a few factory faults on our building which I believe does not normally happen with this company but Edward and James sorted these faults very quickly and were always the other end of the phone at anytime.

The whole process from enquiry over email to delivery of the frame was very straightforward. Even the haulage company were friendly and on time. We agreed the final design including dormer windows, James even saved me a few quid swapping out oak timber that wouldn’t be seen for pressure treated soft wood. James & Ed are on top of their game, the final drawings were of a high quality, as verified by a couple of builder friends of mine. I was being quoted silly money locally to erect the structure, again, Ed came to the rescue and suggested Aiden with whom they do quite a bit of work with. He stayed locally, as I am in Essex, and put the whole thing up with his colleague in 4.5 days, great workmanship, very tidy, professional & friendly. Really looks the part, good value for money and great service. Looking forward to finishing the project. If you are in the market for a quality oak structure, do get in touch with Ed & James.

Trade Oak did all that they said they would. I would recommend them.
The assembly was without any misfits or alignment issues.
The only negative point is the oak sections are now showing some quite large splits. Although this splitting is not a structural concern it does take away some of the appearance quality. This is the result of using green oak I assume.

I cannot recommend Trade Oak Building Kits highly enough. From start to finish they have been extremely helpful and the quality of our barn is phenomenal.

We wanted a bespoke 2 bay oak garage - Edward liaised with us to ensure that we were not only happy with the dimensions of the garage, but also the size of the oak beams etc. In addition, the oak doors are amazing.
