"Brilliant service all round"

Brilliant service all round. Good choice of carpets in store and online. Nyla took the order and Luka arranged the fitting (which was free) and the fitters were friendly, polite and punctual. Can’t fault the people involved in this process.
The carpet looks brilliant.

Carpet stop…. Brilliant service, friendly and professional. Carpet fitted the next week who did a great job and they even have a joiner who will come and trim your doors for a small charge.just put another order in with them

"Everyone was superb"

Everyone was superb. The whole buying experience was amazing. The fitters were very friendly and did a great job. I even received a call from store the day after to ensure I was happy with the carpet and the job. I have already recommended Carpet Stop, Burton to friends 👌

"PLEASE AVOID!"

Would give 0 starts if that was possible.
Bought a carpet worth over £550 in September 2022. After a couple of weeks noticed it is going flat and not looking fresh. Finally rang carpet stop after 6 months as visitors were commenting that the carpet looked around 10 years old.
I was told that someone will come and assess the carpet and send the information to the manufacturer.
Someone did come, for a whole 2 minutes. Didn’t even walk the length of the room, took a couple of pics, mentioned how the carpet looks real bad and went off saying he’ll write a report and someone should get back to us next week. The same day someone from carpet stop called to say the information has gone to the manufacturer and from the pics the carpet looks matted because we’ve been walking on it! Well.. that’s what you’re supposed to do on a carpet isn’t it?? (And we never walked with shoes on in the lounge) Apparently it would take 3 weeks for the manufacturer to get back to them.
Three weeks later I rang carpet stop as no one had bothered ringing yet. I was told someone will call us back.
Got a phone call later that afternoon to say the manufacturer said it’s wear and tear and not their fault. Wear and tear.. we only had it 6 months! I said to the guy on the phone that if it’s such a bad carpet that you’re not supposed to walk on as it gets matted, why are you selling it?? And why weren’t we informed before buying the carpet that the carpet wasn’t for walking on! We’re not carpet connoisseurs , we were just innocent buyers who got ripped off, BIG TIME! Carpet stop said they will give us 20% off if we chose another carpet. 20% off for maybe another carpet we’re supposed to fly over rather than walk on??? No thank you. I will never set foot in that disgusting cowboy shop again. They are evidently only interested in giving you the sales patter just to make a sale and don’t tell you how rubbish their carpets actually are.
All my friends and family will avoid and boycott this shop and I will be putting this review on social media too so that no one else gets ripped off like I have.
PLEASE AVOID AVOID AVOID AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ON TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE AND SHOPS!

"Wouldn’t touch this store ever again."

Well I’ve just been told that the same fitter will be out again next week to sort the carpet that the assessor AJ said was a dreadful fit. I cancelled my hall stairs and landing carpet last Thursday but only today they decided to refund my deposit. Had two bedroom carpet fitted lovely but the amount of excess carpet that was left over was ridiculous!!! I was asked if I wanted it but I said no as the third room was a bigger room and it wouldn’t fit. I was given a £25 refund!!! The third room carpet looks dreadful and I’ve said to the manager MIz that I intend speaking to trade and standards. I was promptly told I could do so and that I either took what was offered or nothing!!!! The carpet assessor came out on Tuesday this week eight days after the fitting and said the fitter had made a mess and commented on the chrome door bar. I told him that the fitter said the original door bar was broken and he only had a chrome one on his van! I paid £7 for this but as AJ the assessor said there was nothing wrong with the door bar as he had commented on all he door bars and said only one would need replacing and that was the one between the bathroom and landing, when he was measuring up for the hall stairs and landing. So he couldn’t understand unless the carpet fitter had broken it while trying to fit the carpet. I have taken photos of everything and intend to speak to trade and standards. I was convinced I had ordered a grey carpet but a mushroom coloured one was fitted. I said to the assessor that if they are having to replace the carpet because it is faulty then I would like it in grey! all I’ve got today in the phone call is someone talking over me and getting annoyed because he wanted things done his way. I’m the customer and they give a guarantee on their carpets so why wouldn’t he listen to either the assessor or myself. Won’t use them again and will tell others to stay well clear.
