Update: item received today (15 days after order placed). Thanks for the information about tracking. The book looks excellent, BTW.

Suggestions for Customer Services:

(1) if you know that there are going to be delays in the postal service, perhaps your email notifying the customer that the item has been shipped could be amended to warn of possible delays?

(2) would it be possible to offer an option when the order is placed for the customer to choose a courier service, instead of the post?

(3) can you amend your invitation to submit a review so that it says "if you haven't received the goods yet, then ignore this invitation and contact Customer Services via xxxx"?

In response to Customer Services: I posted the review because I received your invitation to do so.

No doubt the various custom delays etc are yet another "benefit" of Brexit. (I didn't vote for Brexit, BTW).

Item still not received (after a fortnight).

Tracking information shows that it took nearly a week to get the item to the Deutsche Post mail terminal.

Then another four days to get it to the UK.

No further information on its whereabouts ...
