Chickens are happy and healthy. Obviously well cared for however we didn’t receive our pack or hydration sachets this time round. Pick up is quick and easy and I know the chickens will thrive.

"So I’ve been keeping chickens for 14…"

So I’ve been keeping chickens for 14 years now and I looked around as to where I could get my new girls. I had two remaining chickens from a batch of eight left and I had put off getting more as they were 6 years olds and I had a 9 year old that I didn’t want to be upset particularly by bringing in youngsters. She sadly passed and so I looked around for somewhere that I thought would be ideal, with healthy new additions to bring in. I ordered a mix of 6 new pullets and they are absolutely fabulous. It has taken a few weeks for them to settle not due to them but due to my Welsummer keeping guard over my Barnvelder who has arthritis in her legs and so doesn’t move about as freely as she should. The new girls are as good as gold and haven’t touched her and just get on with living life in their new home, enjoying the garden and laying beautifully. They have every need at their disposal and rule from early morning till dusk. I had a delivery to the door and when you factor in the total price against the joy and quality of the birds and what they mean to you then it’s worth every penny. I wouldn’t hesitate to ring Libby as she obviously loves her job and is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. If my girls continue to thrive as they are we will have many happy years together. As I write this Pepper has just let me know she has just laid…..it doesn’t get better than that..and when they don’t produce eggs, then they can live out their retirement, justly deserved..

Firstly I’m not somebody who leaves reviews but this time I just had to! Libby was wonderful from start to finish. We’ve had chickens for the past 12 years and the last of our girls passed away a few months ago. Spoke to Libby as I really wanted some advice on the different breeds and what would be best for our home. She was wonderful with her knowledge and advice. Within 5 minutes of speaking to Libby on the phone I had ordered my new girls. I was kept up to date right brought to collection day. Our new girls are wonderful, beautiful, healthy and laying delicious eggs. They have fitted into our home like a dream and are fantastic with our dogs (don’t give a monkeys about them!). I would highly recommend. To be honest I did think it was strange at first to be ordering online chickens! But it is brilliant 🤩
