Great way to get your credit straighten out, dependable , kind and very helpful even when I had to postpone a month due to Covid.

If you have an account that requires a check to be mailed, it will NOT get there on time. My payment is taken from my account on the 1st. They cannot seem to get payment there by the 30th. I don't live on the moon! AN ENTIRE MONTH to get just a couple of states north! The mail does not take that long, but they like to claim it does. I have been dinged twice with a $30 late fee in just the first 4 months of being with them because they can't get the payment there on time. I ended up taking the account out of the program because they are so unreliable and give a song and a dance about why it is late every time. I don't need excuses, I needed CESI to DO BETTER! It is amazing that once I call and complain... voila... The check just magically gets to where it needs to be. Gee, THANKS for doing YOUR job! They didn't even negotiate a better interest rate so there is no point in using their service. I am paying the same interest and I'm paying CESI on time, but getting late fees which I NEVER HAD BEFORE. Further, I had two accounts that were pending since I enrolled in the program that they never bothered to tell me what was going on with until I called them up and asked. They suggested I call the creditor and work with them because golly, they didn't know why they were still pending! DUH! I have been working with the creditor by paying them ON TIME and paying them MORE than what CESI was sending them each month. I pulled those accounts out of the program too because CESI was ZERO help yet again! I only signed on with the program so I could simplify and make one payment. BIG MISTAKE. You will make one payment and have to babysit them to make sure it gets to your credit accounts. And you will have to make sure the payments cover the minimum because many times they do not! This program is no help. Save yourself some time and just work with the creditor yourself. They don't get better rates like they promise they will. And don't even try to use their chat feature. When it DOES actually work, you will get Amber who is about 50 percent helpful, but will just tell you to call CESI anyway because she "doesn't have access to that account information." This company has been such a disappointment. They volunteer NO information. You have to ask everything and as I said before, you have to BABYSIT them.

The people are so nice and helpful. They always kept in touch when I was about to pay someone off. When I was reaching milestones during my 2 year payoff schedule. They would let me know I was getting there. They always stayed on top of my account, I really appreciate that, and it feels so good to payoff 8 credit cards in 2 years. I worried about this ruining my credit, but it had a more positive side effect. Once paid off my credit score started to go up. I would never have been able to pay the 8 cards off, without CESI.
