Used Universal to clean the roof a few months back and had them back to paint the roof. Can't fault their approach and quality all round

"Deplorable after sales service"

Deplorable after sales service, there warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on. After the job is complete (6th of September 2023) they start telling you what the warranty includes or not (none of this is cleared during the sales process). Some positives, roof was clean, driveway was only jet washed and some rubbish (lots of sand) left outside the drive, they wouldn't re-sand or seal. We negotiated the price but still paid double than their competitors, so were expecting a premium service at least. Now the negatives, they accepted to clean the flat roof, but they did nothing whatsoever, why say it's complimentary and we will take care of it, then do nothing. When I told them I went with them because of their warranty and had cheaper quotes elsewhere which included re-sand and weedkiller, their response was that was my choice, it makes you wonder how much they care about their customers.

Initially I was asked to provide all messages via WhatsApp, which I did, after telling us we should have chosen better, they want us to write the same thing via email so they can give us a same response in a different manner! No thanks. We paid for the whole job via deposit and remaining balance was cleared on the same day when the job was done, so I guess they have their money, what do they care. Be very careful and shop around, they conned me out of £1500 for a few hours job, when other quotes were half the price and included much more. When I informed them what other companies promised and that they were cheaper, but we choose a premium company, I was told by them, I should have chosen better, so I guess it's my fault going with this company.

They were paid in cash on the day in full even after they left rubbish outside my drive and they claim to bend over backwards and blame me for paying them in full.

They told me to speak with the guys to complete the full job including sealing and sand which was never done since they wanted £400 extra on top, now they are blaming me to get a quote for this from the guys.

They are lying in their response about me paying extra to clean the flat roof (LOL - just see how low they are willing to stoop themselves), it was part of the contract, to begin with.

This whole scenario could have been avoided if they didn't behave like they did and worked with me to resolve the issue, rather than advice me to choose better.

Great job done by Ardi and Rrushi…. They worked very hard over 3 full days and a couple of extra hours on a 4th day to finish things up…. They cleared up all the mess and left the roof of our house looking new…it’s better than I had anticipated…well done guys, you were brilliant…I’d recommend you to any one and any other work I need I want Ardi to come and do it….

Bungalow roof 60 years old and very faded and dirty. Ardi, ably assisted by his trainee Rrushi, worked tirelessly for two days cleaning and panting the roof. The washing made quite a mess, but the clean up was thorough. Moreover, we were most impressed with the end product. Anthracite tiles to match our colour scheme - looks great! The work was done for a very reasonable price, and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Jay and Dave were very hardworking, punctual and polite. Cleaned what was a very dirty roof which caused lots of mess. Afterwards you would never have known how much mess there was cleaned spotless. Sealed roof afterwards and it looks incredible. Would highly recommend.
