"What a joke"

What a joke. They slip in a discreet notice on the invoice saying Celotex (The best) is not available and they are substituting for a less known brand which is cheaper everywhere else.... but, surprise surprise, on their site... where it is more costly..... so no discount.

Their cancellation terms directly conflict with UK consumer regs and they charge for cancellation ( illegal) and collection ( usually illegal)... AVOID THESE DROP SHIPPERS!

To all consumers.. It is illegal to be charged a cancellation fee for goods bought online. Do not pay this crowd a penny, yo can cancel up to 14 days and do not need a reason Reg 29 of CCR 2013!

I will procure celotex from another supplier and charge back to these people the difference.... OH YES I CAN!

In addition, their terms and conditions were written by someone who has absolutely no clue as to UK consumer law... or indeed logic. Completely and utterly unenforceable on every count... Yes I did say 'count'!!!

Anyone else (including trust Pilot) notice that Insulation Hub trust Pilot reviews are almost all given by people who have made no other reviews, for anyone??? Bit odd ?

Anyone wonder why it is not possible to see or leave a Google review for these people?

"Ridiculous company"

Ridiculous company, ordered some bits then cancelled the next day as I found somewhere that could deliver much quicker than their quoted timeline (time was more important than money for this job). Fair enough, a £25+VAT cancellation fee, not going to moan about £30, just want the materials.

However, were on working day 15 and still no refund. I emailed to say I would
be contacting my credit card company in the morning to do a chargeback and with a few minutes have an email to say my refund was completed today (more like just now as they were trying it on).

So, if you order from these guys pay by credit card for the extra insurance as they seem to want to hold on to your money if you dare cancel your order!!!

Never again.
