"Its fantastic to have Catherine Ross…"
Its fantastic to have Catherine Ross back at Abbey Wealth. I started investing with Abbey Wealth the same year as Catherine joined, ie 2009. Catherine did all the required paperwork for my initial investment to become reality at that time. I remember this as she was so very professional, efficient and so approachable.
I spoke to Catherine yesterday, after so many years and found the same highly committed charming lady.

"Very efficient"
Very efficient, courteous and excellent to speak to someone I have not spoken to since 2017, Catherine Ross
Keep up the high standard

"Absolutely awful experience with Abbey…"
Absolutely awful experience with Abbey Wealth.
As previously mentioned, advisors come and go frequently, any growth in investment is quickly eaten up by charges, slow (if any!) response to emails and be prepared to be kept on hold for at least 30 minutes when trying to speak to someone by 'phone.
I am now left without a dedicated advisor!
I believe that this company has very serious problems at the moment.
Avoid!!!

"Problems at Abbey Wealth???"
What is happening at Abbey Wealth???
Amid reports of advisor dissatisfaction and multiple resignations, my third advisor in eight years has also quit, while the performance of my investment continues to disappoint. A recent recommended change of investment managers (to Novia Global, CI) will, hopefully, kick start performance??? Meanwhile, there has been no explanation or correspondence from AW, or notification of my advisor’s replacement.

"Customer service very slow, products not well matched to client needs "
I have been with AW for nearly four years now, and recently queried my product which doesn’t really meet my needs. I was told that the product is no longer sold, the implication being that I was unlucky to have been among the last to clients take it out, but I was also informed that I can’t change products without very severe penalties. More immediately, I need to make a one off withdrawal for a medical related issue and have been waiting a month for the paperwork….. very disappointed. The customer service has always been a little slow but it seems to be getting worse. Would love someone from AW to contact me so that I can move my withdrawal forward.

"What is going on with this company l…"
What is going on with this company l have been with them for over 14 years. l am now on my 3 different advisors in the last 4 years and it looks like he has left, not sure but no one has contacted me to confirm. The first two did not know what they were doing and the second one was sacked after losing me funds by giving me bad advice. My funds have not been doing very well for the last 5 years but my charges have being going up. I was advised to move to nova global as there fees were lower and a better company but todate can’t see much improvement. Maybe it’s time to take my funds to another company. As all l seem to getting are new advisors starting out and very green.

"Poor Advice and Client Exploitation"
When I signed up with Abbey Wealth over 7 years ago, I thought that I had done my due diligence...wrong! It turns out that they are just another offshore Fin Adviser company whose principal aim is to make themselves, their insurance ("wrapper") company partners, and fund manager cronies as much money as possible from the hard-earned pension funds of their unsuspecting clients. In 7 years my significant 6 figure pension investment lost value because of AW's choice of some of the highest fees and most mediocre performing funds available, eg. GAM, Rathbones, and Tilney.
In fact, the only money that I made from being associated with AW was because of pursuing compensation from the UK financial services ombudsman (FSCS) for the advice given by the rogue UK based "independent" FA company that AW advised me to use to sign off on a QROPs. (the name of the company was OMEGA Financial Solutions Ltd, who were struck off in 2017.... do not hesitate to pursue a claim if you received similar advice, it is quite easy).
I understand that financial service companies have the principal objective of making money for themselves and their shareholders, that's business. However the AW business model will see them and others making far more money from your cash than you will.... if you make any at all!
My understanding is that their sharp practices and unethical client exploitation has caught up with them and that the majority of their staff have resigned over the last 12 months. I remain puzzled as to why there are so many positive reviews on Trustpilot. I know personally 4 people who had the same experience as me....and we have all left. I fear that many clients just do not know what is being done to them.

"Looking after my investments in difficult times"
The representatives of Abbey Wealth with whom I have had contact over the years have for the most part been very good - friendly, helpful, informative, quick to respond. My current contact, Sadie Webb, is proving to be very effective and positive, and gives me confidence in Abbey Wealth's management of my investments.
