I have been an Autopom customer for 3 years. We recently lost our vehicle due to a crash, and had to cancel the policy we had. In addition, after purchasing another used vehicle, I wanted to give Autopom a chance to quote on it. As a repeat customer, I received great help with the cancellation of the first vehicle, and my interaction with the sales person (Robert) could not have been better. He quickly gave me the quote I sought, and we found ways to reduce the cost somewhat. Robert seems like a solid, trustworthy person, and his sales style is not pushy, just informative and helpful. I plan to use Autopom in the future, and can vouch that their warranty does provide good coverage. We needed it on our (gone but not forgotten VW CC), and the policy paid for itself. I recommend this company.

"Autopom and Omega: A Policy That Failed Me"
I want to share my experience with Autopom and their warranty provider, Omega, to help others make informed decisions. Unfortunately, my experience has been highly frustrating and disappointing.
The Situation
After purchasing a policy from Autopom, I encountered numerous issues when trying to get my car repaired. Here’s what happened:
Prolonged Delays: It took over 10 days for Omega's adjuster to inspect my vehicle, which set the entire process back significantly.
Questionable Replacement Parts: A junkyard transmission with 80,000 miles was installed in my car, but it didn’t work. This led to additional delays and further complications.
Denied Repairs: When the repair shop provided a quote to rebuild the transmission—a practical solution—Omega denied the request, prolonging the ordeal. Instead, they insisted on sourcing another high-mileage junkyard transmission, leading to more delays.
The car has been in the shop for almost 6 weeks. This is totally unacceptable.
Insufficient Rental Car Coverage: Omega’s rental allowance of $30 per day barely covers a single day, leaving me without adequate transportation for the weeks my car has been out of service.
Concerns with the Policy
Autopom’s policy promises coverage but has limitations that weren’t clearly explained at the time of purchase. For example, “off-the-shelf” replacements, which appear to be junkyard parts, are prioritized over more reliable repair options. This approach does not provide the level of protection I expected when I purchased the policy.
Lack of Support
Autopom has provided minimal assistance throughout this process. Their updates have been unhelpful, and they have not taken responsibility for the shortcomings of the policy they sold me. This has left me navigating the delays and frustrations with limited guidance or support.
Final Thoughts
While Autopom and Omega may have responses to this review, I urge potential customers to carefully review the terms of any policy and consider whether it meets their needs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Autopom or Omega to others.

The process was informative and relatively seamlessly regarding what was needed and what was going to be covered for my vehicle.
