"Items didn't arrive; no help by 'phone"

Do not use this company. We placed a £48 order and were promised next-day delivery. 6 days later, when it hadn't arrived and an email chase had been ignored, I tried calling.
Their 'phone system is a nightmare. I spent over 40 minutes on hold, was disconnected multiple times, two people promised to call me back but didn't, and eventually I got nowhere.
And this with a house move coming up.
I have raised a dispute via Paypal, will be getting a refund from Paypal and placing an order with a competent company.

I sold my house and needed bubble wrap, ordered from PackingBoxes and all was good. I had a delivery schedule from Tufnells, great so far. I lost my buyer in the meantime, I called PackingBoxes and told them what happened, I was advised to refuse the delivery, the goods would be returned back to them and I would get a refund, well that hasn't happened.

I wanted an update on my refund but I cant get through on the phone now, there's a really annoying message that keeps repeating every 10 seconds, designed to force you into submission and hang up I think! The message says if you want to leave a message to press 0, but when you do that the line goes dead.

I managed to get an email response from somebody called Katie who said she would look into the matter for me, but she hasn't come back to me, even after I replied to her email asking for an update!

My advice is to steer clear of this company, there is practically zero customer support. They are super quick to get orders out to you but if theres a problem and you need a refund, forget it, they want to keep your money

I think its disgraceful when companies act like this. Many companies are now very good, their customer service is handled professionally, unfortunately there are still some that don't realise its us, the customers that drive their business. Lets put stop to these rogue companies and ground them to halt, by buying elsewhere!

Ordered 20 boxes on 9th June was promised delivery by 18June when they didn’t arrive I found this site and thought if I had known about the bad reviews I wouldn’t have ordered. I phoned customer service only waited about 3 minutes, very helpful lady said they’re being held in the warehouse I’ll make sure they are sent out to you today. Didn’t hold out much hope but they arrived this morning in perfect condition

Really Bad - Ordered with next day delivery, 2 items were missing when package arrived. Contacted to get the items re-sent. 10 days later no sign of them. Contacted again to get missing items, and also purchased another item with next day delivery. Nothing showed up for 3 days, then when the order did arrive the original missing items were nowhere to be found. How hard can it really be to deliver some boxes and tape?! Tried calling customer services but no answer after 45 mins. Not what you want when trying to move house - take your money elsewhere!
