This is a formal complaint I'm making in relation to order #11123. I strongly advise anyone considering buying from Baby Doc shop to read the customer reviews, expect long lead times and poor customer service. Incredibly disappointing service especially when you are paying over EUR2.4k! 
My complaint is in relation to two main points. 

1) Delayed delivery: I had to inquire via email and in store several times in relation to the status of my order. I had an open thread with them and they never followed up or replied to my email. This is despite me chasing for a response from their reps Jayne and Emma on Aug 6 and no one has since replied. I can provide screenshots of the open email thread to prove this. I was effectively ghosted by their customer service team. 

2) Delivery to the wrong address: I went in store to Deansgrange a couple of weeks ago to update my delivery address and was told in person that they had updated my new address. The new address was captured on the email shipping update. 
Despite this, the delivery was still delivered in 2 parts to the incorrect address twice. This happened on Saturday August 17th and August 19th. When it happened on August 17th I called the Deansgrange store to communicate how it was delivered to the incorrect address. The girl who answered the call told me it was out of her scope to deal with the matter as she was only "part-time" staff and I would have to leave my details for someone to call me back. And again today the remainder of their order was delivered to the incorrect address AGAIN with no apology or follow up from Saturday. 

At 38 weeks pregnant this has caused me significant stress and inconvenience. And I feel poorly treated as a customer without any formal apology or attempt to rectify the hassle this has caused of trying to collect my order from elsewhere. 

"Best service and best price"

Went to the BabyDoc Shop in Limerick and dealt with Genevive and Laura who were both amazing. Had a huge range or buggies, car seats and furniture.

We spent over an hour with the girls who never pressured us to buy. Being able to just pay with a deposit was so helpful and there prices were also the best we could find. I expected them to he a little more expensive with the service levels but they were also the cheapest.

We booked in our delivery for a date as we didn't want things landing too soon because we were doing up our house. Everything landed in time without any issues.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

I had an amazing experience with the baby Doc stop in Deansgrange. I couldn’t recommend them enough !! Walking into the shop as a first time pregnancy not knowing what I wanted when it came to which buggy or car seat etc. Jasmine and the team working there completely put my mind at ease, they offered me some Nosecco while they talked me through each buggy/travel system that caught my eye in order to find the best one that suited my lifestyle & needs once baby was born.

They helped me with absolutely everything, even went above and beyond to order me some items last minute that I had forgotten to put on my list initially.

As we live local we opted to collect our items from the store itself. Our stuff arrived with no problems and the team at the store even helped us build our buggy & fit our car seat, which was another huge relief for us and greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much again to all at babydoc shop, for making my pregnancy buys so easy & stress free.

Had such a good time with Babydoc in Deansgrange. the ladies at the desk had excellent customer service and were so patient in explaining the ins and outs of each seat. Thank you to the staff especially Jasmine for helping me meet my needs for the baby car seat and helping me with the setup afterwards. ❤️

"Delayed delivery and items damaged upon delivery"

I placed a large order for travel system, co-sleeper, nursing glider chair and three piece nursery furniture set, amounting to over €2800, and paid in full on May 18th.
I asked for it all to be delivered as soon as possible and agreed to delivery the week of July 1st, allowing BabyDoc Shop over 6 weeks to deliver on the fully paid order.
The travel system, co-sleeper and nursing chair were delivered 5/7/24. The nursing chair arrived damaged and BabyDoc shop said a replacement would be sent. I am still waiting on this replacement over 4 weeks later.
I sent weekly emails chasing up the nursery furniture and damaged chair.
The nursery furniture was eventually delivered over three weeks late on July 26th, the day after my baby arrived. It had to be accepted by someone on my behalf as I was in hospital and I arrived home to a nursery of unmade flat pack furniture rather than a functional nursery, as I had planned well in advance.
I have received no compensation and am still sending weekly emails trying to chase up the replacement for the managed nursing chair.
The sales people in the Limerick store were helpful but everything since the point of making and paying for the order has fallen far short of adequate and has caused me a lot of unnecessary stress. I have needed to and continue to need to follow up regularly by email. There is no direct phone number to call as it goes to a message service which is ultimately responded to by email.
Hugely disappointed in my experience and could not recommend to anyone. I certainly would not go to BabyDoc shop were I to have another baby to prepare for.

Such a good experience. Went into Limerick store and staff were amazing. I’d done loads of research and they were best on price. Being able to pay with deposit was so handy. Everything delivered on time and they even fitted our car seat base when we dropped by the store!

"Order not delivered in full + delays on delivery .. and bad customer service. "

Bought a baby bundle in February 2024, ETA should’ve been March 2024.
It’s June and I have not received the full bundle. Trying to contact them since 29/05 as the item was supposed to be shipped on May 15, which would have arrived by now if shipped on the date agreed… but nobody comes back to me with an answer.
Please be aware other shops match price on bundles, so go for it! I did not know it at the time and now I am here stressing out.
