My only reservation is this is a pricey service wherever you shop. Outsource Data Recovery communicated with me regularly so I didn't wonder where we were in the process. They quoted me pricing which I had to approve prior to any work being done which was great because it gave the opportunity to compare prices with other companies. When I received my files back they had recovered 100% of them (I had a failed hard drive). There were supposedly 2 files that were unrecoverable but I was able to open them just fine. Definitely a great service for people who inadvertently failed to back up their back-up drive after their primary failed.

I had a power surge and my entire PC got shorted, including hard drive. A friend of mine suggested checking to see if I can find a replacement PCB. After some online research I figured it wasn't as easy as just a simple swap, and I ran into Outsource Data Recovery. The website promised $60 hard drive repair for bad circuit board. So it seemed like a very reasonable price and I sent it in. Not one week later I got an email saying that my drive was successfully repaired and indeed it was only $60! They delivered what they promised and I am very happy camper.
