The company is prompt to respond, however they did not fix all the errors that I have requested multiple times. I recommend before publishing, all the errors should be corrected more thoroughly.

I love how David got to meet my mom on the phone back in November when I made my payment!! I love how the HOME accryonm that I’m writing about is moving hearts towards Christ on the people who are helping me release a book and design it and edit it!!

Wish I could give a 0. Came on with first payment in November 2023 after making sure that I could add new script. In the first month it was clear that communication was not a priority with me. Dates for interaction were blown off. There were never edits done just spacing and punctuation. Began asking for supervisor in January. 6 times blown off. No supervisor provided until May. February started marketing and complete violation of my personal identity via social media. I was hacked on my personal email. When shifted to my pen name the hacker followed. I kept running after the only contact I had and in response he treated me like I don’t know anything rather than demonstrating any respectful conflict skills. The supervisor, compliance officer, spoke to me only a few times and then distanced himself. By that time I had paid off the company now 6000$ short with, even now nothing to show for it. The Project Manager sent the book without consideration of any of our agreements going into the project. Still unaware of what it takes to maintain an authors anonymity, he still violates mine. He lies and manipulates me trying to convince me what we had agreed to never happened. In therapy circles they call that gaslighting.

Please for the love of God if you face this kind of disrespect get your money back and contact the Attorney General in your state with a formal complaint as with the Federal Trade Commission. Government has got to start acting in our interest as consumers and stop giving big money a free ride off of our backs!

"This company is absolutely atrocious"

This company is absolutely atrocious. From over promising what they will do to straight up ignoring emails and calls for 6 months, the customer service is horrendous. My book has been completed for over 6 months (had to pay outside service to complete it) and is only waiting to have the book published, but I can't get anyone to publish it at this company because they won't return my call. They had a google page that they took down because the reviews were so bad.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the communication between Sophie and myself. I am a first time writer doing this and she makes it easy. This short synopsis clearly cannot communicate, just how grateful I am. She is making this journey a lot more easier than I thought it would be and Lord willing, she will be with me, in one capacity or another throughout this journey.

I need to be honest, my experience with Excel was difficult in the beginning. I struggled with their staff follow through and meeting expectations. NOW, I have a new project manager, Davin, and he's amazing! We've only been working together for a couple of months but it is a night and day comparison. Davin is pleasant, professional, he follows up, and he gets things done.
Because of Davin, I'm staying with Excel!
