"Misleading website and appalling customer service"

Very poor customer service and you should avoid Ultimateaddons.

My partner ordered me Ultimateaddons Premium Heated Handlebars for my motorbike as a Christmas gift.

They were ordered in December and I unwrapped them on Christmas Day. I booked them in to be fitted by a local motorcycle garage a few days later. The garage tried to fit them but discovered they aren’t compatible with my bike and can’t be fitted (I have a Triumph Street Triple 2019 plate - so a well known and popular motorcycle brand).

My partner then tried to return them to Ultimateaddons and was told as it was outside of their 14-day return window they couldn’t be returned.

I checked the website and the fact they aren’t compatible with all bikes is buried in an FAQ and on the key features list it says ‘Great for any bike’. This information conflicts with the FAQ information and suggests it’s universal.


Finally, the website makes a big deal of their money back guarantee but if you read their returns policy it’s incredibly unwieldy and confusing. Different rules apply for different reasons and so in reality it’s anything but a ‘money back guarantee’.

We’re now stuck with a pair of handlebars that we can’t do anything with and have lost £130.

I’m a member of a motorcycle group and shall be ensuring I tell my mates and other members not to buy Ultimateaddons as the customer service is absolutely shocking and the website totally misleading.

Avoid at all costs!
