"AVOID,AVOID, AVOID"

Avoid, After a week of no communication regarding a £1050 purchase I was then told it was not in stock after I demanded it still gets delivered on the original date they seemed to find one. The delivery was a total shambles with the delivery driver going to a hospital appointment

"Do not buy from Lincs Aquatics!"

I bought a Fluval Edge from Lincs Aquatics in May 2022. From the beginning the pump kept stopping, sometimes every day! I contacted Lincs Aquatics and Arran replied and said to remove and clean the propeller, which I was already doing. It didn't make any difference, the pump was obviously faulty.
I contacted them again, twice, and received no reply. Then the pump stopped altogether and I couldn't get it started again.
As it should have still been under warranty, i tried to contact them again and then gave up as worried about losing my fish and bought another pump, at a cost of £40! Low and behold, it's working fine!
I will NEVER buy from the company again as they wouldn't uphold the warranty.

"Claim items in stock just to get your order."

Don’t order from them. The website stock is misleading at best and likely a blatant lie. Ordered a small tank in stock on their site for next day delivery. Waited a few days didn’t hear anything. I called and got told the person I needed to speak to wasn’t in. The person in the shop couldn’t help at all. Then got an email a week later saying it would be 2 weeks as they’re not in stock and coming from Germany. I have written several times since and nothing. It’s now three weeks and I’ve requested updated and now a refund as I got the tank elsewhere. Save yourself the drama and heat ache. Their communication is terrible and they claim to have items in stock simply to get the order. They go silent if you ask for a refund. Still waiting.

"Avoid this company"

Avoid this company. They are clearly advertising stuff on there website that they don't have in stock. I ordered some koi food. Money gone, then get a email saying they have no stock. Blaming the supplier for updating there food range. Stuff still being advertise. Take it off your system or put "sold out".

"Initial poor service remedied"

Next day delivery was nearly two weeks late. Despite refusing the order and trying to cancel it it was resent. Lincs Aquatics have now remedied this and given me a full refund. I am happy with the service

"Visited the aquatics after we went to…"

Visited the aquatics after we went to the garden centre, it’s a little hidden gem if you are into fish keeping.

The place seems to be going through some changes, but staff are friendly and very knowledgeable!

We brought some fish food to feed the fish which the kids really enjoyed and kept them quiet for 10 mins thinking they was feeding sharks.

Made a purchase from Lincs Aquatics a few weeks ago.

From start to finish they have been amazing! Every email and phone call I have made has felt personal, unlike these automated responses you seem to be getting everywhere now.

They really do put the customer first.

I ordered some tetra pond sticks, had issues make the order online, phoned them up and the chap I spoke to on the phone helped me, and two days later it arrived at my door!

Will be returning!!

"Do not bother ordering online with these people, they probably don't have what you want."

Ordered and paid for Oase IceFree Thermo 330 on 1st Sept, item in stock usually despatched within 24 hours is what was stated on their website. Payment was taken.
Close of business next day I get an email "Unfortunately, we are experiencing some technical issue's regarding stock due to a new system the item/s you have ordered is currently out of stock but we do have the following"
They then list two other items that are not suitable - neither have a thermostat so with todays energy costs are not a real alternative.
I called to ask if I could just leave the order in place for when stock does come in and I am told not until next year! Really? Ice prevention devices not available until after winter.
Looking at the reviews on this site for them, it seems their stock system leaves a lot to be desired as well as leaving me out of pocket. I also believe that taking payment for stock you do not have is illegal in the UK although the guy I spoke to with an extremely irritating manor calling me buddy and mate informs me this is quite OK.
Avoid and use a decent supplier - I am going back to pond planet in Middlesborough.

Went into the store Tuesday. The lass on the till was so helpful and helped us decide on a water feature for our garden. The stock level was checked at the distribution warehouse and delivery confirmed for Saturday to Northampton.
Was contacted on Friday to confirm delivery and given an approximate delivery time. Arrived as and when promised and now installed as centrepiece in back garden.
Excellent service and a great customer experience.
