Very swift repair and good communication once underway. It’s a real pain to actually get through to the repairs line as its so busy and frequently you’re waiting for someone to pickup.

Service was first class, good communication, cant falt them. Only problem was caused by parcelforce delivering my camera to wrong address, not fixations fault. I phoned wex and it was sorted quickly with no problems, this is why i wont use anyone else...if only postal sevices were as good.

Whilst the quality of the work completed and the attention to detail is excellent, it took 3.5 weeks from when my camera arrived with Fixation to when it was returned.

Fortunately I didn't have any jobs booked for this time, but if I did, I would have lost out.

They did great work, but the speed needs to be improved drastically for this to be an effective service.

"Sensor and camera body refresh"

I needed the sensor of my Sony A7R cleaned and I wanted a refresh of the camera body as bits of rubber were peeling away and it was discoloured. When I got the camera back the sensor was sorted but more impressive was the refresh, new rubber trim, and repaint and renewal of the body itself - it looks practically new (it's six years old and travelled around the world). Great experience

The repair did take a long time but this was due to waiting for parts from the manufacturer so out of their control.
