Was very glad to find somewhere that fixed Bowens studio lights, as that doesn't seem common these days.
Sent off 2 cameras, a lense and two studio lights, the whole process took about 2 and a half months. This fortunately wasn't an issue for me, but might be worth asking about before booking in.
Items came back well packaged and looked like they had a general clean and service too.
Staff communicated well over telephone and email throughout. Overall a great service and would use them again.

I’ve normally had good experiences with Fixation and whilst the work was completed quickly - the fault diagnosis is only a list of parts and a passing reference to “impact damage”.
The Canon lens was in to rectify some stiffness in the zoom but to be honest, the returned lens does not appear to be any different from when it was dropped in despite a rather large bill.

Excellent quality service and very reasonable prices. The online platform for checking the status of the repair is great, and really useful for allowing you to approve repairs without having to phone, though the people on the phones were very helpful and friendly too. The people in the office (London Oval) were really lovely and even remembered me when I came to pick up my lens, which I thought was nice! They gave a fairly long period for the repair to take place (up to 6 weeks) which helps manage expectations, especially when you can't wait to get your gear back! It was a lot faster in the end than the given time frame, which was a pleasant surprise.
I very highly recommend Fixation. I will be returning next time I need my camera or lenses serviced.
