"One mile of 8mm Cine film"

I sent over one mile of 8mm Cine film to Colin for transfer onto DVD and USB. I now have easily accessible, non-deteriorating, digital versions of the films that bring back great memories of times, people and places from the 1950s to the 1980s, including our wedding.
The quality is fabulous, the price was excellent and the memories are remarkable. Thanks so much.

I just have to say a huge Thank You to Colin.I got in touch with him 2weeks ago to see if he could convert my old Cine films of 40years old.
He is excellent to deal with.I asked if they could be done by Christmas,and low and behold,Monday morning they came back to me with 2 DVD's.I spent yesterday looking through them,it is amazing the job he has done.
I was convinced they were black and white,yet here they were in full colour,and beautiful music in the background.
I can't give 10stars on here but if I could I would.

Colin was great to work with, told me exactly what the cost was for my order what I didn’t need when I was unsure.
We were told we had missed cut off period for Christmas and if we decided to go ahead our order would be processed in jan.
We sent our Polaroid cine videos to be ready for jan.
Today (30th November) we got an amazing surprise doorbell rang and there were our videos the dvd and data usb for them!
We were so excited it really was like Christmas for us and really appreciated that our conversations were able to be done way before time estimated and in time for Christmas (which we plan to show to our mother and rest of the family on Christmas day as a surprise!)
The dvd is set up lovely with each video in its own chapter to play and was lovely watching something we hadn’t seen a many years and that date back 40 years.
Colin sticks to his word no hidden costs on his website its all very clear and transparent we didn’t have to pay extra for the usb drive of editable videos or even have to supply our own Colin supplied it to us.
I looked over a couple of similar websites and I am extremely happy I went with CineFilm2DVD honestly you wont be disappointed if you too decide to trust Colin with your precious old movies.

"My 60s to 80s Cine films"

My first cine camera was bought in 1960. I used it to film trams in Glasgow, my passing out Navy Parade, and my Navy time and places around the world in the 60s and 70s. Years ago I managed to edit and put them on large reels but hardly watched in case they were ruined. About 5 years ago I tried copying them either from a screen or a newer unit but the quality was poor and very wishy washy. I saw this advert and sent off a 100 ft reel 'just in case' and could not believe what came back. The colours were vibrant, no shaking it was as though I had just taken them. I then sent 6 400ft reels which I have just got back. AWESOME is the only word I can describe them. Four more 400ft reels are now off for Colin to transfer.

"Could do what the (very good) local guys couldn’t"

I tried a local person to convert my old cine films, but they said it wasn’t possible due to the strange hole cuts in the film. I sent them to Colin and a few days later I’ve been viewing the most amazing images that my family haven’t seen in over 70 years. Just amazing, thanks, Colin!

From start to finish this has been an excellent experience.
I sent off 5 spools, all of which have come out far better than I dared to hope - it's such a thrill to see films from over 60 years ago.

Colin is a polite, friendly guy who is very approchable, happy to answer every and all questions. I felt assured that he would take the utmost care of my films, which indeed he did. The download worked perfectly and I received the returned spools safely today.

I received my cine film dvd yesterday and I can’t tell you how happy they have made me, including the music you have put them too. The quality of them for how old they are is superb. I have very few pictures of my mum, dad or me as a child. So these will be cherished for years to come. I won’t hesitate to recommend you.
