I can even begin to say just how good Colin was - the end result was stunning. The 8mm film he transferred had been done previously by a local company with a projector and it was dire. Colin charged less and produced a quality end result that was a different as day and night. Don't hesitate to use his truly professional service - he could charge 10 times the price and it would still be incredible value for money. A consumate professional.

Thanks to Colin I've been able to relive memories of an 8 year old me playing with my puppy. I'm 62 now! All four of my late Grandparents or on there too. So much that I had forgotten too. A great quality personal service. While it is possible to use cheaper options for transferring cine to DVD the results will be very disappointing. Colin's equipment and methods will get you every detail from your precious film. Nothing is more precious than memories. Very highly recommended.

Excellent service. I found Colin via Ebay. Dropped my box of old cine films off and received a link to download the digital copies a few weeks later. Very pleased with the results. Scanning the film produced great results compared to filming a projected image. Also communication is very good. This is reassuring. You are not left wondering whether your precious cine memories have disappeared for good.

I was slightly at a loss as to what to do with a box full of old cine films my father had given me. I was aware of numerous film to digital transfer firms online but how could I know who to trust with my treasured films? I mentioned them to a neighbour and he immediately recommended Colin - he'd had great results himself after sending Colin his old cine films. I emailed Colin and received an extremely helpful reply immediately. Colin has now done an absolutely brilliant job transferring the films to a memory stick and to DVDs. The quality of the transfer is absolutely superb, while the original films were also received back in perfect condition. It has been wonderful to view the films again reliving many happy memories of my childhood and of ancestors I knew all too briefly as a youngster living their lives back in the 50s, 60s and 70s.
