"Having a bad time"

Was lured in by a good price and promise of item being in stock. Turned out it wasn't in stock. Never receive e-mails from them, despite being assured they are being sent. Now being told that courier has tried and failed to contact me, but received no calls or voicemails. Don't be tempted by their price, it's not worth it in the end!

"website not working, poor customer service from Manager"

I bought a tap from this website, which I could no use in the end due to problems with water pressure.
I received only an email from my purchase, with no information about terms and conditions. When I looked on the website, this information was not on display. I opted to call customer service, I talked to the manager of the website (they informed me they do not have a showroom) and he told me I should have got the terms and conditions sent to me on the email (I didn´t). He informed me that I was out of the 14 day period. He was rude through the entire conversation, not wanting to provide his name or his company register number (as I intend to report this to Citizens Advice Bureu) which is very concerning.
I will not be buying from them anymore. Extremelly poor customer service and worrying lack of information both on website and over the phone.

"Oh what a tangled web they weave....."

If you see something in a shop for £x.xx, to buy it you simply hand over £x.xx and they hand over the item. Transaction done and dusted.

Buying on the internet doesn't seem to work this way. Why? Because the shop probably doesn't have the item on their shelves. Instead they take your money then place an order with their supplier giving them your address for delivery and paying the supplier the wholesale price agreed in advance.

What happens if the supplier tells the shop that the wholesale price has gone up or the shop has made a mistake and posted the wrong price on their webpage? In either of these situations you'd think that the shop would contact the customer, explain the situation and give the customer some options like cancelling with a full refund or going ahead with the transaction at a higher price.

My one experience with Bathrooms365 leads me to believe that they don't work this way.

Instead they:
- make no attempt to contact the customer
- when the customer contacts them to find out what is happening they tell the customer that the supplier has run out of stock and doesn't know when more stock is expected. (Curiously though the item is now shown on their website at a higher price. Strange when, according to them, the item is unlikely to be available for some time.)
- when contacting them again, having contacting the supplier directly to be told that they had hundreds of this item in stock, the customer is curtly told that they don't have to give any explanation as to why they clearly lied to the customer.

I leave you to draw your own conclusions.
