"Wooden Pins"
I always order wooden pins when there’s a sale going on and I’m never disappointed! The quality is great and the colors always come out so vibrant, I appreciate their team for always answering my questions and their shipping doesn’t take long either. I’ve ordered pins from them for years and even my older designs still look great!

"Ordered the colored acrylic keychains…"
Ordered the colored acrylic keychains and I loved them, the colors and image was very vibrant. My only complaint is the sticky covering the company uses to "protect" the front of the keychain during shipping. When I took this off it left a sticky residue and even damaged one of the keychains beyond saving. Other than this I enjoy the company and will use again.

"Great service"
I love working with Zap Creatives, I get a lot of wooden products from them and the quality is always perfect. My only negative is sometimes it takes a really long time for the proof, production and then delivery, so it can be a bit tricky with shop updates or special holidays etc but generally I am super happy with them :)

"Better not."
I was looking for a manufacturer within Europe and found Zap. Even though some friends who had negative experience with them told me not to, I wanted to give them a try. They're Social Media feeds look nice, people seem to be happy in reviews so what could go wrong? … Well.
So I ordered a small batch of acrylic pins to see what will happen. I was warned about the long production time, especially for smaller orders. So it was no big surprise that it took several weeks.
But what came out as a surprise was the quality. I ordered 10 pins, got 13 and ALL of them were broken. The pin needle didn't stick to the back.
So I contacted them for a solution and I made one big mistake: I mentioned that I was trying to glue one of the pins myself to see if that could work. (I was desperate because a con was around the corner.)
So THAT was they're solution: Refunding me not even a full 50% and telling me "Go glue them yourself".
That was such a bummer and I couldn't stop myself from sending them a "Karen"-mail. They came back to my complaint, offering me a 20% discount if I'll order new pins. So I did. (I was still full of hope. Mistakes happen.)
I ordered 25 Pins, got like 27 and 11 of them were broken again. Same issue, the needle came off easily. Again I contacted them, they asked for pictures of the quanity sheet they add to every order (probably hoping that the additional pins would cover the broken ones). On that point I noticed that even the quanity sheet was wrong (it said 28 pins). At least they offered me to either reproduce the broken ones or to refund them. I chose the refund, knowing that the third time wouldn't work out as well and I was tired of it.
Now that I'm a step further with some other manu, I think the problem is the way that they print: They print the white directly on the backside of the acryl without any added protection layer. It seems like the glue, they're using isn't really sticking to the ink, as it probably would to the acryl itself. (Also scratches on the unprotected backside-print will be visible on the front.)
Last month I gave some other manu a go, for acrylic pins as well. They add the print beetween two layers of acryl. The needles are nicely secured, the print is safe from scratching, they took like 3 weeks from sending my files and recieving my order AND they're waaaay cheaper.
Over all I don't get the hype about Zap? Maybe I had some bad luck or something. But I like the technique of others way more.
